2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Great color and aroma from 22 oz bottle. Pours nice foam and good veil. Flavoring is OK but alcohol taste is overpowering with faint charcoal, coffee and caramel undertones. Would like to try it from the tap
next. Prefer Abbey Ale to this.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle 355 ml. Bouth at Half Time (Poughkeepsie). Pours caramel brown with thick froathy beige head. Aroma: bananas, malt, sweet, vanilla, wood (?), caramel. Awesome nose! Taste: malt, honey, alcohol, dark fruits. Balance is near perfect. Full bodied beer. Alcohol has a warming effect. Milky texture. Not too heavy, despite high ABV. Really nice one!

Chestnut in the glass with nice head. Plum, raisin and a touch of chocolate and coffee on the tongue. Smooth and flavourful. This is a good strong beer in the Belgian style.

Murky brown pour. Big and boozy with dried fruits, bread. Finishes dry with a little bit of tartness and oak. Nice quad.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours reddish-brown with a tan head. Taste dark fruits, sweet, strong. I thought this was pretty good. I would drink this again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
This strong beer’s taste is impacted by its high alcohol content but it seems to be a great blend of ales with characteristics of a saison and champagne. It pours a beautiful caramel brown with the sound of battery acid as it is rifled full of carbonation. That creates a head that is everlasting. This beer comes across a bit too sweet, with some spices reminiscent of cinnamon but also with a heavy alcohol overtone though it does coat the tongue well with its full body. The aftertaste is cumulative with a great lingering bitterness. Great pick to share with friends.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle 0,75L. Thanks to Kita for sharing. Hazy, medium ruby red colour with creamy, light brown, fully lasting head and excellent lacing. Aroma of cherry, cooked red wine, cinnamon, apple, citruses and oak cask wood. Taste is light bitter at the start and moderate bitter at the end of the sip, aromated with cherry and red wine note. Full bodied, oily beer with soft carbonation.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Have always liked this beer. Light and fizzy on the one side. Yet complex esters, with chocolate, cherries, little vanilla, and a lovely mineral aftertaste. Powerful but elegant, like I am, in my mind anyway.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Unquestionably one of the very best quadrupel ales on the market today. It manages to succinctly encompass all that makes a quadrupel. Very spicy, pungent and deep toned.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle. Appearance: large, frothy white head, excellent lacing, cloudy body. Aroma: molasses, grain, citrus, horse blanket. Taste: average duration, heavily sweet, lightly acidic. Palate: full body, alcoholic texture, lively carbonation, chalky finish. Not my favorite, but a well balanced beer.
