Pours cloudy gold, with a white bubbly head. Aroma is like a saison. Flavor is malty, sweet and bubbly. Flavor strongly influence by the yeast. Very smooth and drinkable.

On tap at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA. Not overbearing, but a bit too tart for my witbier tastes.

This is an example of an excellent Belgian style beer made in the USA. Perfect for hot, summer weather along with some Tapas.

Bottle shared by mixylplik3, thanks for the opportunity Matt!
Pours a lightly hazy deep straw color with a smallish white head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of citrus and pepper with a hint of honey like sweet maltiness. The flavor is a light and sweet with a fair amount of orange marmalade and light tart citrus. Light earthy hops are barely perceptible and a light bready maltiness that provides some balance. Light body with a spirited level of carbonation and a sweet bubbly mouthfeel. The second wit for me in two nights, that’s some kind of record. Nice light easy drinking brew, maybe I’m starting to see the allure in this style.

Lemongrass primarily in the nose. Pours a hazy yellow with about a finger of slowly dissipating white head. Sweet lemon zest in the taste, with a mildly bitter finish. Good for a witte, though admittedly I’m not a fan of the style.

Bottle. Cloudy orange appearance. Resembles an alcoholic orange juice. Small head with a trace of wheat. Nothing going for it whatsover.

Straw gold haze with a thick white head. Not much of an aroma, maybe slightly metallic. Nothing outstanding with regards to taste, it would be very easy to down a barrel load of this stuff without giving it much thought, if it were about half the price...good beer but not a great value.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jabic (295) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 20, 2013
Ar: Refined, herbal hops - pils malt, some pepper and coriander.
Ap: Cloudy straw golden - medium-large white head with good retention, fine bubbles, and a thick cap of foam remaining.
T: Clean pils malt, some sulfur - crackers, some lime and orange pith - hints of pepper - lean lemony finish, with a low bitterness.
P: Light body with very high carbonation - finish is very dry.
O: Fair wit - a bit too clean, comes off somewhat flat.

Not a bad appearance but it’s down hill from there no aroma to speak of and taste was very bland for me. My first Ommegang beer on draft ( in an trendy Indian restaurant on Valencia Street in San Francisco.. The name escapes me)
