3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Dtschirmer (28) - Stamford, Connecticut, USA - JAN 23, 2011
Bottle. Poured a pale straw yellow, with an almost white opacity and dense, creamy, white head. Heavy streams of carbonation in the glass, and light cereal aroma. Medium to med-full body, creamy texture, with a balanced finish. Bready, wheat flavors, with a light fruitiness, and just a hint of citrus. Overall, very refreshing, great carbonation, spice or yeast flavors not overly dominant. Had this with sushi, which was a great combination.

Aroma is slight lemony and spice with skunkiness. Appearance is light yellow with whit head. Taste is traditional Belgian white, but does lack a bit. Overall a decent beer but not my goto from this great brewer
3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Vir4030 (362) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 14, 2011
Pours a light cloudy yellow with a thin, yet full, white head. Aroma is mild alcohol and lemon. Flavor is a bit absent.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Steeeve (305) - Ambler, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 13, 2011
Hazy pale gold pour with a thick, frothy white head. Aroma is lemon, wheat, orange zest, pepper, coriander. Has a little sweetness like a belgian tripel. Flavor is about the same as the aroma. The yeast gives it a nice spiciness. Smooth palate that goes down very easily. Pretty good witbier. I liked this one a lot better than Hoegaarden.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 DavoleBomb (965) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2011
Poured into a pint glass.
3.0 A: Hazy orange yellow in color. Not a lot of head, but a lot of lacing considering.
3.5 S: A little bit of spice. Hay. Some orange peel, though not much. Earthy overall.
3.0 T: Nothing special, which is something I don’t find myself saying too often about Ommegang brews. Main flavor is wheat malts. Earthy yeast. Very little spice and orange.
3.5 M: Medium body. A little under-carbonated, especially for the style and therefore not as crisp as I would like.
3.5 D: Not too crazy about this one. It has the standard witbier flavors, but not bold enough. I would get bored with this pretty soon.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 mansquito (1607) - washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 26, 2010
Saloon (?) tap ($5): Pours a really pretty hazy yellow with a shiny white head. Aroma is very spicy with a bunch of banana notes. Very carbonated mouthfeel. Lots and lots of citrus. Wheat, well of course. Spicy notes throughout that actually provide this beer with some bite. The quality of beer you would expect from Ommegang. I was not dissapointed (except when the bartender accidentally gave me a Gaffel Kolsch by accident).

12 oz. bottle. Nice hazy golden pour with frothy head. Great depth to this wheat. Varying citrus flavors throughout. Bought the sampler pack. This one was a nice break from the heavy flavors of the other four. Loved them all.
