COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ommegang Witte, a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale with whispers of sweet orange and a touch of tart lemon. Soft and seductive, Ommegang Witte is this summer's version of spicy intrigue and refreshing flavor.

After 2 hours of mountain biking through forest I needed a refreshing beer to replenish calories burned. Due to it being 90degrees out this seemed a very appropriate choice. Pours a hazy orange yellow with nice fluffy white head. the waitress put an orange wedge in it which i threw back in her face (didn’t happenen). taste is of cirtus like orange and bannana (latter not citrus), yeast and some spice. great summer brew and its getting me very excited for BCTC next weekend.

Pours mostly clear pale gold with a foamy white head that fades leaving a ring. Aroma has lemon, tart yeast, gum, wheat, some spice. Taste is all the same great yeasty flavors as the aroma with a mild rind bitterness at the finish and an overall light and crisp body. Very well done on a style that gets overlooked by me most times.

Tap at G Man poured into my new Ommegang stemware. Light hazy yellow color with a white head. Light aroma of grains and citric acid. Flavor is light yeast, orange/banana, and easy grains. Finishes slightly tart with a bitter linger.

Bottle. Pours golden with a medium lasting, foamy, white head and lovely carbonation. Aroma of piney hops, biscuit malt and hints of citrus. Medium, crisp body. Taste of piney hops, yeast, sweet malt, some citrus and spices. Excellent, complex whit.

pale gold hazy pour with a medium white head. aroma is sweeter than expected. Wheat and almost a pancake like maltiness. Citrus overtakes that, orange and lemon. Then a light spiciness. Flavour is quite sweet....but a soft sweetness if that makes sense.light wheat malt, some banana ester and lemon. Very light lemony/grassy bitterness. Quite nice for a wheat beer, though much lighter on the spice than most other whites.

Pours hazy, pale gold, small-to-medium white head that’s gone pretty quickly. Lacing is moderate, fine-bubbled. Aroma is wheat, bready yeast, citrus - more lemony than orange but both are present. Mouthfeel is medium, creamy, good carbonation, restrained sweetness, almost no bitter, crisp finish. Really tasty stuff. I could drink a lot of this.

Had this at a local burger joint. Appearance: Clear bright amber/yellow Smell: Fruity, with a mix of spice and coriander Taste: Grapefruity like the smell. Very different for a witte - almost too much fruit but enjoyable. Mouthfeel: Not overly carbonated. Felt like I was drinking welchs if welchs was beer. Overall: It went well with my burger - not a beer I’d pick up for a night with a six/twelve pack. More of a beer of choice at a cookout/oyster roast - at someone elses house for my girlfriend to drink.

On tap at flying saucer. Pours a cloudy yellow golden with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is yeast and coriander. Medium mouthfeel with a coriander and citrus with a dry finish. A good wit from ommegang.
