Ommegang Witte, a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale with whispers of sweet orange and a touch of tart lemon. Soft and seductive, Ommegang Witte is this summer's version of spicy intrigue and refreshing flavor.

A good brew that is above average in all aspects. Pours a nice lemon colour with smallish lacing head. Smell is definite lemon citrus and wheat undertones. Taste was light wheat with a lemon flavor. Mouth feel was dry throughout, but not overly so, Very easy on the drink ability scale...light bodied with a refreshing dry crispness throughout.

pale golden pour with a lot of carbonation and a large white head. Slight bread/citrus aroma. Very smooth drinker with a nice spicy/orange aftertaste. One of my favorite Witbier’s so far.

One of the palest beers I’ve seen in a while. Was a clear light yellow, before I gave the bottle a swirl on the final pour to get those sediments where they belong. Fluffy white-white head. Smell of yeast and coriander. Taste, strikes me right off the top as quite dry. The flavour is nice yeasts, some hay and good hit of coriander, and the orange is more of a back-up flavour that comes out more in the finish than anything else. Good beer.

This hits as a light beer not over powering whatsoever. The after taste is great and pushed its way into my top ten beers.

Citrusy and spicy aroma. Just right considering I don't like overdone Witbiers. Wonderful creamy mouthfeel which gives way to a crisp finish. Very nicely done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

look: 3.5 smell: 3.75 taste: 3.5 feel: 3.75 overall: 3.75 Here’s a new review based on this on tap: Pale yellow with a green hue. Good start to the head but it settles to rim bubbles. Some spots for lace. Banana and clove waft to the nose initially. Soft very lightly malted barley and light alcohol round out the smell. Soft and fruity flavors of apple, banana and cream. Not much wheat here. Carbonation is modest for the style. The finish has a small touch of spice like thyme and white pepper. Short aftertaste. From on tap: Good white head that dies more quickly than most Wheats. Yellow color and mildly cloudy. Great wheat start to the aroma. Crisp and light in the nose. Spritzy yet full-bodied. Strong wheat flavor. Sour finish and long lasting aftertaste. Pretty run of the mill in my opinion.
