COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ommegang Witte, a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale with whispers of sweet orange and a touch of tart lemon. Soft and seductive, Ommegang Witte is this summer's version of spicy intrigue and refreshing flavor.

Smell of lemons. Pours pale light amber like a lager with white head. Taste is thin. Flavor like Hoegaarden light with soft spices and citrus. Enjoyable but grab Hoegaarden instead. This would be a great beer after a grass cutting here in The South.

nose of sweet wheat, citrus and yeast, pale yellow pour with a huge fluffy head. flavor is well balanced between sweet and spicy, tangs of orange and hints of coriander. as with pretty much everything i have ever had from them, very enjoyable.

750ml uncorked unto a draft left hazy golden ale with a glacier head. Light on the carbonization and the as advertised wheat taste remained. The beer was overall damp or flattened by the lack of citrus cutting through the flat ale.

I did not like this beer. Shared a 12 oz bottle with MereLIkesBeer. Let me start off and say that I’ve liked every one of Ommegang’s offerings in the past, but this was just not good. It pours a Budweiser-straw yellow, and almost smells like the swill it resembles. The only definable difference that I could tell between this and any of it’s pilsner relatives, is the slight hint of lemon on finish. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Cheers!

I shared a bottle of this with BeerBaron617. We had high expectations for this beer. Typically Brewery Ommegang presents a very tasty beverage, however this beer did not live up to our expectations. It poured a very light yellow with a white head. Aroma was light, notes of lemon, but not much else. It was very carbonated, but a light mouthfeel. Taste was very light, refreshing, and had a lot of lemon, but there wasn’t enough going on for my taste. I wasn’t satisfied with this beverage...thumbs down for this brew, but not for Ommegang. I just hope the next beer I have form this makes me feel better about the brewery.

Pours an attractive cloudy golden with a white head. Nose of clove, yeast and citrus. Flavor notes of lemony, fruity yeastiness, some orange, light noble hops and light spice. Low bitterness, ends with a slightly sweet malty tinge. Light bodied, with lively carbonation. Quite quenching and satisfying. Nice beer.

Pours whitish yellow with a white head. Aroma is nice and spicy with some malted wheat and yeasty aromas. Flavor is light and refreshing and filled with spice, coriander and light fruits. Pretty decent wit.
