3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ Blind Tiger House. Really cloudy, well actually itís really hazy yellow golden in the glass and it has a nice small kinda islandy white top. I like the nose on this. Wheat with lots of grounded coriander seeds, orange zest, some yeast and a little bit of grounded pepper as well. Really inviting. Really refreshing to drink also. It has a light oily mouthfeel and a average soft prickling carbonation level. Fresh clean flavors, Lots of wheat, not so much coriander as the aroma lead to believe. Some banana tones here, the green kind, more peppery things, a good dash of citrus and itís a bit more bitter than Iím used to in my wits. Really tasty and refreshing though. Actually got it served with a slice of lemon on the side. Not sure what to thing of that. Is it only me or does everybody get that? 18.06.2013

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a hazy pale straw colour with an average sized creamy white head and decent lace on the glass. Aroma is coriander, orange peel, bready wheat, banana esters, Belgian yeast, and a touch of honey like sweetness. Flavour is zesty orange peel, tart lemon, mild bitterness, mild honey like sweetness up front, and a good punch of spicy coriander. Well done wit.

The sweet witte flavor isnít the first flavor in this. The smell is distinctly like a pilsner. Off-putting.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
light slightly fruity taste with hint of spice...carbonation tasting...low malt, no hops, a little flavor off the bat but then carbonated water on the back end...taste is medium strong on first sip, but dissipates out with more...very mellow beer....not bad...just nothing to really rate

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted on 12/12/13 from a capped bottle purchased at Midtown. Pours clear dark yellow with an average, smooth white head that slowly recedes to average lace. The nose is white bread with a touch of lemon and orange peel, banana, and a hint of spices. The flavor is the same, with the orange peel a bit more prominent and the spices really laying back. The body is light with almost sparkling carbonation and a medium banana and orange peel finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slight haze in a straw colored brew; light head cover and tiny infrequent dots of lace. This is as advertised: wheat and malt that moves through the palate with a bit of orange and lemon grass. Minimal bittering balances things nicely. An unpretentious example of the style.
