COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ommegang Witte, a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale with whispers of sweet orange and a touch of tart lemon. Soft and seductive, Ommegang Witte is this summer's version of spicy intrigue and refreshing flavor.

Draught at Euston Tap, London. Hazy yellow color. The aroma is perfumed and spicy with orange, clove, pepper and coriander. Mellow spicy flavor with tropical fruits (orange and pineapple). Some ginger like tingling spiciness in the palate. Very drinkable.

Straw yellow, massive haziness, very tall white fluffy cap. Looks like a nice brew. Mild sour aroma with a ton of wheat, mild lemon. I’m disappointed in the lack spice in here I think i smell the coriander but i might be making that up. Mild banana shows up in the taste. Flavour is better then aroma THANK YOU JEEBUS!! Lemon, spice all built on a big wheaty back bone. Brew finishes sweet and clean. Odd as beer hit room temp i swear I’m detecting a hop profile.....I’ve never found that in a Witt before. Beer is growing on me, a bucket of Ho is still better though. Marks might be to low....but ya.....You know.

Aroma of fresh grass and chives. The taste was somewhat disappointing. I’m a huge Ommegang fan, but thought this one was just OK.

750mL corked bottle poured a hazy golden color with big white head which left spotted lacing behind. Aromas of yeast and grain. Taste is citrus fruit with some yeast and spice and a lingering hop bitterness in the finish. Carbonation is adequate and body is light to medium and overall, this is a decent enough wheat ale.

I am a big fan of wittes and this is an excellent one. I could drink this all night and still want more. Very drinkable. Pours a nice cloudy yellow. Aroma of spice, coriander and and straw. Light carbonation with a mild sour flavor. Nice yeast flavor with spice and banana. One of my favorites.

neuromatt (610) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 2, 2011
12 oz bottle from Beers of the World in Rochester, served in a weizen glass. Pours hazy straw with a moderate, dense white head. The head slowly fades and leaves a small amount of fine lace. On the nose, there are notes of wheat, lemon, straw and hints of spice and pine. The flavour is moderately sweet with a gentle spiciness, wheat, lemon, banana and coriander. The finish is soft and a bit spicy with a touch of coriander. On the palate, it is light in body with a dry texture and lively carbonation. Overall, this is a decent Belgian white with a prominent lemon character. Fairly simple and straightforward, it makes for a nice summer refresher. 2011-08-17

On tap. Very cloudy dull golden pour with lots of fluffy white head. Aromas of citrus, spice, wheat, and some honey sweetness. Refreshing and easy to drink with lots of orange and a nice wheat bite.
