From a bomber. Pours a cloudy, light yellow and creates at thick, fluffy white head. Smells of lemon, oranges, wheat, and coriander. Very light taste and meant to be drank colder than your typical IPA. Great beer for summer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Transfer from BA review from 6-6-12- Served in a 10 oz chalice glass Appearance – Served a hazy yellow color with a medium white head. The head faded moderately fast to give only a small amount of lacing. Smell – The smell is largely of lemon and yeast. There are lighter smells of some wheat and a ever so light amount of biscuit. Taste – The taste is very much as is detected in the nose and very classic of a witte. IT starts out with a lemon wheat bread taste. As the taste advances some of the yeast detected in the nose comes to the tongue. As the yeast enters some of the wheaty flavors lighten and the lemon seems to intensify a bit more. A lighter banana flavor also comes to the tongue. At the very end the lemon mellows a bit and a light spice and pepper flavor leave a spicy lemon yeasty taste on the tongue. Mouthfeel – A lighter body with a higher level of carbonation. Very fitting and refreshing. Overall – It is an easy drinking witte. It is a little on the drier side without a lot of sweetness. It is rather refreshing but nothing I would consider to be amazing.

Aroma of citrus, orange and lemon, with spices, fresh. Pale yellow in color with an ultra white head. Sweet wheat and orange zest is the first hit you get. Followed by spices with a zip of bitterness that is Nice. Finishes nicely. Refreshing. Very Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Witte is a nice Belgian Wheat. I taste the orange and lemon flavors right away and it is nice and cloudy when pouring into a glass. I prefer this during summer time like it mentions and it was my first foray into brewery Ommegang’s offerings.

I've been off wheats for a while but this is bringing me back. Bottle poured a light yellow with some cloudiness. Floral aroma, taste adds orange citrus and a touch of spice. Soft mouthfeel, very well balanced overall. Tasty ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ommegangs Witte pours a bright hazy yellow color with a tall thick bright whight head. The head settles slowly and maintains and nice thin cap of foam which makes some slick lace on the glass. The aroma brings nice notes of light pale malts, fresh sourdough bread, Belgian yeast, spice and citrus. This moves right into the flavor which brings all of the aromas charater to the tongue. This flows on a nice smooth yet well carbonated medium body and finnishes balanced and refeshing.
