3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 ryanscourt (278) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2013
Spicy aroma, lively carbonation, good wheat flavor, coriander, orange peel. Flavors right in line with the style. A little lighter than some other whites. Thought this was really well done.

4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 BREWMUSKCLES (1996) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 21, 2013
wit brews haven’t gone over well with me. if i could make one it would be fruity with a little tang and zest perhaps lemon, to go with a moderate fresh creamy wheat body and soft white frothy carbonation. some honey sweetness for character and easy on the wheat it doesn’t have to come on like a fuckin’ root vegetable. smooth and satidfying with no hint of alcohol yet it’s not a ladies drink. That’s what you got here! no smash of coriander and clove just a nice essence of licorice well balanced.

Bottled, 355ml from Stirchley Wines & Spirits, Birmingham. Cloudy orange with white head. Heavy lemony and spicy flavours with a heavy tartness, fruity, banana. Bitter, pretty close to the standard Belgian Witte’s but a little much for me.

Pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is white grapes, coriander, citrus, bread, pear. Crisp and well balanced on the palate, light bodied, slightly acidic finish. Taste is pear, jasmine, white grapes, coriander. Definitely sessionable.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lemke10 (541) - Janesville, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Pours a cloudy light yellow color reminding me a lot of the look of lemonade. Lots of carbonation rising to the top forming a great head. Scent has a very organic wheat scent with a lot of grassy earth tones and some lemon zest. Taste is crisp, wheaty, and lemony. There is a decent volume to it but the taste is missing something. Makes for a much better summertime beer. A decent Witbier worth trying in the hot days of summer.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Imaena (848) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 5, 2013
Bottle @ Belgian Brewfest in Boston. This is a solid white beer that I definitely plan on drinking again in the future.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 damzz (182) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 31, 2012
Upon opening the bottle, the smell of the hops is dominant. It pours a light hazy yellow with a long lasting white head. The nose is citrus with a backbone of hops. The palate reveals a citrus, slightlty tart brew. Nice drink.
