COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ommegang Witte, a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale with whispers of sweet orange and a touch of tart lemon. Soft and seductive, Ommegang Witte is this summer's version of spicy intrigue and refreshing flavor.

Overall this was a good American Wheat Beer. Very cloudy at pour with a vigorous bone-white head. The head goes away to nothingness and the remainder is a very carbonated citrusy (lemon/orange flavor) with clear crisp hop notes at the finish. A good beer from solid folks.

Hazy yellow color. Nose of citrus and vanilla. Not too strong a wheat flavor. Very crisp finish. Very refreshing overall.

April 2006 - This was really just all right for me. Not much aroma, not much flavor. The flavor was good...it was just a bit weak and watery. This is all the effort this beer warrants in reviewing.

[750 ml] Hazy yellow color with a dense white head. Very cloudy. Spicy lemon, clove and yeast in the aroma. Flavors are tart, dry very lemony. Dry, spicy finish. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light golden color with a large but quickly diminishing white head. The aroma has mild citrus (lemon) with wheat grass and some citrus peel. This is fairly light/mild in terms of flavor. Definitely grassy with a noticeable hop finish. This is a bit to plain to even notice. Not one of my favorite styles. This was a very average beer from a solid brewery.

Pours a cloudy bright yellow with a foamy white head. Smells of fresh wheat and hops with a little citrus. Tastes of wheat bannana and hops with more citrus. Clean and crisp finish. Great hot weather brew.

750 ML Bottle-Poured a cloudy golden color w/a slight white head & good lacing. Dry wheat flavor w/just a touch of citrus; touch of spice, orange peel, banana, & colander. Good carbonation. This would make a great summer brew when you are outside enjoying one in the evening or at the Beach. Light & easy to drink, but still has a good flavor to it. Long dry finish. I’ll have this again.

Skyview (4739) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - DEC 28, 2007
Sampled at ABR 07 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pours a semi-clear golden brew with a decent and thick white head that has some good retention and lacing. Aroma of loight multi-grain malt with a touch of wheat, some banana esters, cloves and a touch of coriander and orange zest. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of light bready malt, some banana esters, yeast and cloves. Finish is slightly tart, smooth with a yeasty light malt and orange zest aftertaste.
