2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 onceblind (1349) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 28, 2011
Clear pale straw yellow, with a dissipating head. Smells of sweet wheat, and some orange rind. Tastes like a boring, typical wit, with subtle notes of lemon and wheat. Too light bodied. Not bland per se, just very average.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BrewBoxer (775) - Brooklyn, USA - MAY 27, 2011
Draft. Cloudy yellow color. Nice head. Smells of lemopn and some yeast. Very easy drinking, but nothing too exciting. Great outdoor summer beer
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Hair6a11 (931) - Illinois, USA - MAY 24, 2011
On tap; pour is murky light gold with a modest fine bubbled white head, as you would expect. This brew is light on the funk overall, and heavier on the citrus and grassy hops, providing a quenchable, easy drinking wit with a mild note of coriander. Its nice, but....
3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Onslow (639) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - MAY 21, 2011
Pour from a 750ml bottle. Sparkling clear pale yellow brew with large bubbles and frothy white head. Mild aroma of wheat and light spices. Very light flavor - some mild bitterness (yeast?) and a little citrus like spicie to the finish. Very clean and refined, very refreshing.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 pilgrimoutlaw (273) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 3, 2011
Pours golden blond with foamy white head. Citrus, coriander, grassy. Lively carbonation. Sweet and moderately bitter. Good thirst quencher.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 caralkaline87 (386) - Washington DC, USA - APR 22, 2011
Pours yellow and opaque with a quick white head and light lacing. Nose is subdued and surprisingly un-sweet and un-spicy, with a touch of wheat and even a hint of roastiness. Flavor is fairly weak and very wheaty, without the usual in-your-face citrus or coriander common to the style. Finish is quick and dry. A surprisingly bland offering from Ommegang.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Thorpe429 (3542) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - APR 21, 2011
Bottle thanks to Jared. Served in a wine glass.
The pour brings a hazy straw-yellow brew with a good white head and a bit of lacing plus a thin collar atop the beer. The nose is quite plain with some lightly-sweet wheat and a very, very mild citrus presence. No real spice or any indication of Belgian yeast. The flavor is about the same but a bit more grainy. Feel is pretty light with moderate carbonation. Nothing bad about this, but nothing at all impressive either.

Sampled from the bottle. Poured a hazy yellow with a gold hue and a white head that lasted throughout the beer and laced. Aroma has sweet citrus note with a bit a lemon bite and some backing sweet grains and flora. Flavor was similar with a bit more lemon bit and not as sweet. Nice and light, easy to drink.
