Bottle at home poured into Franziskaner glass. Very light, pale yellow. Big fluffy white head, dissipated rather quickly. Aromas of citrus, clove, wheat. Very nice balance of flavors - tart lemon, smooth wheat, fruity banana, spicy clove and black pepper. Light bodied, crisp dry finish, refreshing and flavorful, infinitely drinkable.

Served with a slice of lemon helping to enhance the citrus flavors, this was a very refreshing beer perfect for drinking outside in the nice weather.

Poured pale yellow and a white head. Sweet corn, honey, coriander in the aroma. Sweet taste. Light body with high carbonation. Easy to drink and refreshing, it was OK.

On tap @ Sanctuary in Iowa City. Hazy yellow orange appeaance with a white head. Sweet citrusy, yeasty, light wheat nose. Orange/lemon citrusy light witbier with a notable yeast presence. Easy drinking, no non-sense witbier.

Light, crisp, refreshing, I used it as a pairing to a sumer tropical meal with brie and mango topped salmon, grilled pineapple, and citrus/spinach salad. It worked perfectly.

Pours a cloudy golden amber with white head. Smells of sweet wheat and a faint hint of fruit. Taste is sweet and crisp. Wheat, lemons, with some berry tastes too. Good tartness to back it up and keep it from being a one-note sweet beer. A solid witbier. Very refreshing.

Pale yellow, *big* white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, lemon, and biscuity malt. Flavor is sweet, biscuit/grainy malt, crisp hop finish.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2011 Cloudy gold, white head, healthy carbonation. The essence of this wit is that it utilizes great discretion in the spicing and handling of the yeast to highlight the sweet wheat grain flavor/aroma and still maintain a very complex and intriguing flavor. I’m sure that there are a bunch of yummy spices in here, but none of them stand out on their own. Lovely, like a big field of wheat after a spring rain. A bit sweeter and less yeasty than other wits.
