does not count  Jul 22, 2008 I’d call the color mahogany/reddish. Brownish head. Nose is woody and spicy. Feels great on the tongue. Taste is complex, with hints of spiciness and fruit but well balanced with the malts. I really like this beer.

Bottle listed as 1pt 9.4 ounces- poured out a brilliant amber, clear with a giant cola-colored head. The head itself was incredibly bitter. The aroma was mildly fruity and sweet. The taste was rich with hints of malt, yeast and citrus. Palate was excellent, very smooth. Not bad at all.

Jul 19, 2008 2k7 bottle. Pours a perfect dark brown with a huge but dissipational head. Aroma is caramel raisin and yeast, taste is similar w/malts and a nicely accentuated bit of hops. Well regarded.

Jul 15, 2008 750 ml bottle. Pours a ruby red, with a pillowy head. The aroma is of pure sweetness and fruits. It has a full mouthfeel, a well balanced flavor profile of fruits, caramel and some spice, and has a clean dry finish. Another quality ale from Ommegang.
