Congratulations, you have just managed to get your hands on Russian Roulette - a rare kind of collaboration between Evil Twin Brewing (Denmark) and OMNIPOLLO (Sweden).

This beer would best be described as an IPA with a twist. A twist that will reveal itself first after you "bust some caps".

One thing remains sure however, if you like hops and the lush texture of a well crafted beer this will have you smiling as you face your destiny.

Good luck,
Jeppe (Evil Twin Brewing) and Henok (OMNIPOLLO)

Ar: lots of tropical fruits, passionfruit, citric, pineapple, Resionous, fruit candy, grapefruit, perfume, sweet malts. Ap: Hazy light golden colour, big white head, lacing. F: Big bite, grapefruit, pine, resin, lots of hops, but a bit one-dimensional. M: Average. T: lovely nose, sadly the flavour is mainly bitter, good punch, but lacks complexity.

Harmonisch. Gut! 9/10/11/11/12/11

Pours yellow with a small white head. Nose is intense pine. Some subtle citrus fragrances as well mix with a little wood note and some hay. Taste is sweet up front but not for long before a nice bitter hammers your pallet through to the finish. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, light body and has a great bitter aftertaste that lingers for a long time. Got lucky and this one is fresh.

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours cloudy yellow with a little sediment and a huge white head that fades pretty quickly. Aroma is very hoppy with plenty of pine, grass and citrus. Taste is more of the same with a fairly bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Pours a medium straw, white head. Very hoppy, piney aroma, grapefruit, spruce, herbs, malt, citrus peel, lime, passion fruit, mango. Off-dry, medium body, high bitterness, balanced CO2. Very hoppy, astringent taste, loads of pine resin and spruce, grapefruit peel, mango, passionfruit. The malt is nowhere near balancing the bitterness, it all finishes very dry and tart, with lingering ashy note. (2012-04-15)

500 ml bottle.
Pours a beautiful hazy yellow colour with a white head. Aroma of strong citrusy hops, grapefruit and pine. Heavy flavour of very bitter floral hops, lemon, grapefruit, sweet apricot and caramel. Full bodied and overall very strong but also mellow flavour. Gets more aggressive towards the end with a big, dry, crispy bitter finish. Long lingering bitterness, which fades in 10-15 minutes. Yum yum, this is a perfect treat for a hop head.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, 20120412) The beer poured golden and a bit hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had citricness, pine and fruitiness. Flavours were hops, fruitiness, pine, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. Well balanced IPA with a bit too much alcohol.

(Bottled) Hazy pale yellow with a smallish, but lasting, frothy and lacy head. Aroma is crisp and lemony with a piney twist. Flavor is crisply lemony-hoppy and quite bitter, with a long, bitter and dryish finish. Medium body, soft CO2. A nice IPA for its class, but of course I’d prefer more fruitiness. 3735

On bottle @Domus Birrae. Very bitter and hoppy with a long bitter finish. Golden cloudy colour, with a flat white head. This beer seemed very good to me. Actually as an IPA lover, I like the strong hop taste of this beer. Very good.
