Congratulations, you have just managed to get your hands on Russian Roulette - a rare kind of collaboration between Evil Twin Brewing (Denmark) and OMNIPOLLO (Sweden).

This beer would best be described as an IPA with a twist. A twist that will reveal itself first after you "bust some caps".

One thing remains sure however, if you like hops and the lush texture of a well crafted beer this will have you smiling as you face your destiny.

Good luck,
Jeppe (Evil Twin Brewing) and Henok (OMNIPOLLO)

Bottle @ Odense Late March Tasting, 2012. Pours cloudy golden with a creamy white head and lacings. Lovely fresh hoppy taste and flavor. Citrus, grape and exotic fruit. Medium and smooth body. Dry and bitter end. Lovely.

This is my favourite beer from Jeppe so far. This is so good it is poosible that if/when I drink it again I’ll rate it 20/20. It’s bitter as it goes but still much more wellbalanced then it’s comparible beer "1000ibu ultramate". The hops really burn and lingers for a long long time. I also like the Russian Roulette concept even if it had nothing to to with the beers taste or looks. Sadly for me I got 3 of the Black IPA and only one of the IPA (but the black one is really good to so...). Grass and Citrus dominate the taste and it fills your whole mouth and throat. Lovely.

Bottle at home. Pours very pale, slight hazy yellow with a nice white head. Fruity, grassy piney aroma. Not much body, its all hops, hops hops. Long lingering bitterness.

Bottle, bought @ Fish’n’Beer, Cph.
Pours clear golden with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has peach, citrus, pine - very fresh. Medium carbonation, lovely dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has firm bitterness, piney, citrus, apricot. Light crisp pilsner malts which tastes a bit doughy. Grassy lingering bitterness in the finish. Yum.

Hazy yellow color, lasting white head. Sweet, hoppy, herbal scent. Herbal, bitter taste. A bit too dry and bitter for my liking. Smooth mouthfeel, rather high bitterness.

500 ml bottle shared @ The Rover. Pours slightly hazy yellow with a small frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is subtle, hoppy, bitter and tiny sour with pine, pineapples, grass and a strange chemical cleanser-like smell. Taste is hoppy and bitter with pine, grass, pineapple, gooseberries, dusty hay, resinous wood, wet earth, steel and orange peal. Mouthfeel is unbalanced and thin bodied. Finish is bitter with grapefruit and orange peal. I feel it lacks the malt backbone to balance out the high bitterness and hoppy character and make it a good beer.

Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 14, 2012
Bottle 50 cl. Slightly hazy golden with an off-white head leaving laces. Fresh hoppy nose, loads of citrus and pine - but the richness of hoppy oils becomes a little much. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, an initial ligtly sweet fruitiness that quickly disappears and gives room to the fairly aggressive bitterness - almost astringent. Somewhat overhopped and rough. 100312

(Bottle) Pours golden with a pale head. The aroma holds buttery toffee/fudge, lemon/grapefruit peel, flowers, mild phenols, sheet metal, bandaid, light fruit estery, tart pineapple, cracker-like malt, bread minerals, wet dog and fresh leaves. The flavour is light sweet to dry, heavily bitter and light acidic. Striking grapefruit and resin from the hops with a subtle and dry malt backdrop of crackers, bread and straw. The mouthfeel tart, soft and clean with a light carbonation. Lingering, super aggressive afterbitterness. Near medium bodied.
