With yeast and hops in our trunks we teamed up outside Barcelona (Catalunya) to brew this beer containing; an array or specialty malts, rye, moscovado sugar, hops and a hand full of Spanish cranberries (literally a hand full so don’t expect a fruit beer). Layered yet fresh, we sincerely hope that this beer will embody the passion, enthusiasm and hard work that went into making it.

0.33 l bottle at Timo A’s. Hazy reddish brown color. Sweet toffeish and bready aroma with raisiny and floral notes. Bittersweet toffeish, toasty, nutty and caramelly flavor with burnt caramel, floral cascade. Full body, a bit gassy palate. Drying bitterness and hop tannins in finish. Rich taste, hops and dark malts in good balance.

Bottle from Nick... Thanks! Straight gusher. Huge head, red amber pour. Smell is molasses, and that’s it. Taste is malt, molasses. Easier to drink than the aroma suggests. Sticky.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Quite a simple one with a bit grass in the front and some skunk in the end. Dull moments but in the end a nice quality beer.

Pours out of the bottle in a cloudy orange-amber colour with steady low head and medium body. Aroma of mild yeast and hops. Taste of dusty hops, light yeast, light malt, citrus and straw. Light hints of caramel. Carbonation is quite high. The taste was alright, just the whole drink experience was little bit too boring and dull. Average.

Pours deep mahogany into a tulip. Off-white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Rye, sugar and summer pit fruit aromas. Sweet caramel and toffee upfront turning to dry cranberry before the lasting bitter earth finish.

Hazy dark brown beer, massive pale tan head. Palate is light and a little dry with fine carbonation. Soft malt, slightly grainy. Hops are light piney citrus. Well balanced. Finishes semi dry with mild minerals and a mildly bitter aftertaste. Light and respectable.

Bottle from CBX. Deep amber pour with a foamy white head that lasts. Caramel malt and brown sugar aroma with toast and earthy hops. Sweet caramel entry quicky turns into bitter earthy, pine hops throughout the finish. Great carbonation and body.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy copper amber, with a huge off-white head, which lasts very well and leaves good lacing. Pine and fruity hops notes and fig sit against a backdrop of toffee malt to create the aroma. Quite strong fruity hops up front mix with a little pine, before giving way to rich toffee malt and candied fruit in the mid-palate. Pine hops and a touch of citrus come through in the finish. This is a nice hoppy red ale, with a good balance between hops and malt flavours.
