3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 yngwie (10760) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 30, 2013
Bottle. A big, off-white to beige head forms over an unclear, chestnut colored body. The head soon diminishing. Rather herbal nose with cooked vegetables and some caramel hints. Reading the commercial description noticing the use of cranberries, I suddenly understand the rather strange note I didn’t know what to describe as is. Caramel, some piney, hoppy bitterness and herbal and berry notes in the flavor. Medium body, quite dry, leading to a bitter, piney and dry finish. Well, not bad at all, but not my kind of beer. 130430

1.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 maltwolf (17) - FRANCE - APR 17, 2013
Maybe brewed in a bad way, not my beer. Maybe a pine tree felt into the beer while brewing. Hard to discover which style of beer it is.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 after4ever (5287) - Brier, Washington, USA - MAR 25, 2013
330. Pours a murky deep amber with a dense and creamy tan head. Lots of stringy lace. Nice sweet pine and dark caramel nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel and pine mid palate. Starts out pretty flavorful but the aromatics dissipate or something happens as it warms, and it closes out a bit. Nice enough.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Davros (1477) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 11, 2013
Pours dark amber with a large head.
Nose shows nutty, toasty and bready malt along with brown sugar and spicy, biscuity rye. Nice stuff.
Toasty flavours with more rye. Almost roasty. Some spicy hops. Not all that interesting.
Way too much carbonation.
