650 ml. bottle. Thanks Nikos! Pours black with a decent tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and coffee. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, caramel, and dark fruit. Mild maple at the finish. Very nice.

Maffig.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with no head. The aroma is strong maple and roasted malt. Medium mouth, rich malt, roast, maple, light bitter finish, very good.

Härligt trögflytande, extremt mörk och avsaknad av co2. Hyfsat söt med en liten grad av choklad. En upplevelse!

Old notes. Bottle at Tobbes place, 2013-08-24.
App: Pitch black and viscous with a thick dark brown head leaving a sticky nice lace. Awesome bottle design.
Aroma: Sweet with freshly ground coffee/espresso, dark strong chocolate, hints of soy, sauna wood, some fresh sweet licorice. Kind of simple in a way, but intense and curvy.
Taste: High sweetness of chocolate and some molasses, strong coffee/coffee powder, some soy and licorice here as well but also some dark fruits and grapefruit. The alcohol gives some heat, but it’s overall very nice.
Palate: Big and oily thick with some scrubbing carbonation.
Overall: Very nice and powerful, but maybe a little hot and overly fresh.

Big thanks to Marcelo for sharing this one. Pours dark brown with a burnt orange head. The aroma has heavy roast, maple, whoppers, chocolate, smoke and some vanilla. It has a full smooth body that then gets crisp for a 12.5% impy stout and has light micro carbonation. The flavor is drier with charred malt, chocolate, maple, charcoal, woodiness, grains and licorice. The finish is a bit on the boozy side. Pretty nice one here.

bottle, extremely thick, almost syrup like. Taste is very sweet, lots of roast. The sweetness really takes over and makes it very hard to drink. 1 ounce was plenty.

Bomber: Thanks Theydon: Served in a Chouffe glass: Brown head. Pitch black body. Couldn’t see the toes. Only an eye peeping out of the lamp... Is it a lamp? Anyways, good aroma: maple syrup, bay leaf, molasses, roast, hops, light soy, light alcohol, flowers, light fruity, liquorice, light coffee, caramelised sugars... Very nice! Flavour has also maple tones with bitters, roast, oatmeal, light chocolate, light soy and tar tints, some molasses, caramel, some coffee tints, etc etc. Aftertaste is bitter, roasty, molasses, maple, coffee and caramelised sugars with a hoppy edge. Low carbo, oily silky sticky mouthfeel (and texture), full bodied. Great beer, rich, interesting, great bottle art! Darkened destiny...

Lena toner av rostat kaffe, mörk choklad knäckebröd och charkuterier. Smaken påminner om doften, plus kraftig beska. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
