Outstanding stout smoothly executed in every department. Creamy dark pour, luxurious vanilla chocolate and almost candy aroma. Taste is rich malt, boozy dark fruit, nice touch of funk from hops. Finishes velvet and oily. One of the best.

330ml bottle (shared by FatPhil, thanks). Pitch black color. Medium size, brown head, stays. Roast, sweet, chocolate, cocoa in aroma. Metallic, minerals, chocolate, roast in taste. Spicy hops and roasted malts in aftertaste. At first quite harsh and rough, but as it warms up taste becomes much more smoother and mellow. Fantastic brew!

330ml bottle (BierKompass.de)
Superb roasty aroma, rich like coffee cake. Black, and a gorgeous tight dark tan head. Massively full palate, smooth and rich, soft moussey carbonation - orgasmically good in the mouth. Beautiful rich roast, so incredibly burnt, but no ashiness or harshness. Black black bitter espresso. Burnt coffee grounds in the finish. So soft, so mellow. This is a soft cuddly bear hug. Attuned to my tastes perfectly. One of the best imperial stouts Ive ever tasted.

Looks..black med-lge brown head. Smells.. Roasty malts, rich caramel, choc, coffee, smells boozy too. Tastes..coffee, heavy roasted malts, dark caramel sweetness, berry liquorish & a lingering espresso bitterness. Mighty.
