COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Omnipollo Fatamorgana (8%). Drawing inspiration from the fidelity of a saison - rustic, alluringly cloudy and crisp - this double IPA was brewed using oats and wheat. Dry-hopped twice and completely untouched post fermentation to preserve aroma and flavor.

Look - Murky. Pale mango. Thin head with weak pour. It is white. Lacing. Smell - Dank. Grapefruit. Orange. Malt. Taste - Might be old/skunked. Nose comes through but with more hop bitterness. Minty hops (haven’t brushed teeth or chewed gum for hours). Feel - Light for a DIPA. Low carbonation. Overall - Not sure how old the bottle is. Leans toward a single IPA.

Great beer. Bitter and spice and all things nice - and that includes the label.

bottle pour..you can see the hazy character of this at the bottom of the bottle..looks to be a bit murky...produces a color palette that comes across as a mix between fresh squeezed orange and lemon juice..hop particles abound..small filmy white head..nose is spot on with citrusy and leafy/grassy aspects leading the way..mouthfeel is quite light and almost creamy up front with a huge twang of hop bitterness at the end..bitterness does fade and there is a dry component at the conlcusion..a bit thinner in the mouthfeel than most tradtional DIPA for 8%, but very good stuff. After having a recent dry hopped sour, this has features of that style for sure/interwined with DIPA...nice, citrus laden offering. Goes down easy and if this wasn’t so damn expensive it would be worth tracking down again and again.

Bomber, thanks EW2013, orange pour, white head, nose and taste are zesty, citrus, pretty good

Marshmallow peeps, lemon zest, lillies, bread crust nose. Cloudy golden, thin head. Intense lemon zest, lillies. Full body, easy carbonation, alcohol evident. Great intensity, little complexity, good flavor. Imperial White IPA, good stuff.

Incredibly opaque hazy pale orange/yellow. Like pineapple juice almost. Minimal head and lacing. Nose is massive juicy citrus and some fruit and tart yeast. Mandarin and lemon and some other fruits. ooooooooo... Sweet juicy fruits: mango/papaya and grapefruit meander through before vanishing into a one-note finish that’s actually two notes, but whatever. Primarily pith, but some pine as well. But a lot of grapefruit pith, like ruby red grapefruit juice, the bitter kind you use to mix with gin. Less of the lemon almost more lime-like. A tad thin and overcarbonated but I also tend to be in the minority in my feelings on those characteristics in beverages so whatevs. That sharp bitter finish though...

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of earthy pine and earthy grass with a bit of wheat underlying. Flavor has sweet wheat and grass with a growing pine note and a touch of onion.

Bottle at home courtesy of Kirsty. Very cloudy. A weiss beer colour, perhaps a touch darker but more luminous.

Pours almost milky yellow with a white head. Aroma is big and bold with notes of resin, ripe citrus fruits, ripe pine apple, pine, juicy peach and some typical iipa malty notes. The taste is big and very bitter. Lots of ripe citrus fruits, grapefruit, citrus peel, ripe pineapple and some malty notes. Nice double IPA of SHO! Could drink several to the dome!

Bottle. Pours a milky yellow with a small, white, soapy head. Aroma has lots of overripe pineapple, hops, sweet malts, grass. Taste is big, sweet and bitter. Citrus peel. The White part. AVG. Carb, full body with a minty finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
