Omnipollo Fatamorgana (8%). Drawing inspiration from the fidelity of a saison - rustic, alluringly cloudy and crisp - this double IPA was brewed using oats and wheat. Dry-hopped twice and completely untouched post fermentation to preserve aroma and flavor.

From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Hazy yellow golden color with white head. Hoppy and light malty aroma, light yeasty too, citrusy fruity, tropical fruits, pine, spicy, light caramel. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Probably the best double IPA I have ever had. It smells of tropical fruits and pine, and the taste is in the same note. Extremely well balanced and drinkable, with less of the malty sweetness or thickness in body that DIPAs usually posess.

12 oz bottle poured. Light cloudy yellow color with a foam swirl head. Yeast forward aroma with some grassy hops. Bright fruity flavor profile. Tangy hop finish. Unique imperial. Quite tasty. Might go find another

Flaske 330ml på Bishops Arms, Luleå 14 Jun 15. Lys aprikosfarget. Høyt luftig skum som daler raskt. Uklar. Heftig sammensatt fruktaroma. Smaken balansert. Fersken & ananas. Svakt tørr ettersmak.

Tap @ In De Wildeman, taster size (5oz). Hazy, light orange color. Foam is as good as white, bit frothy, long retention. Aroma’s od reisn and pine, light malty sweetness. Additionally some citrus retronasal. Flavor is rather bitter with a light sweetness and light fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Firm bitter finish, light earthy and herbal, long lasting.

Opaque golden with a fluffy white head. Aromas of juicy pineapple, orange zest, lime, mango and pine with some cereal notes; resinous and dank grass develop. Fine prickling tangy carbonation, lightly slick, harmonically balanced with an elegant body. Brief fruit-cereal sweetness opening up for fruity, piney, resinous bitterness. Lasting grapefruit dry finish. Lack a certain "aha"-effect.

(Omnipollo Fatamorgana Oat/Wheat IIPA) Bottle 355 ml at home, served into a teku, ABV 8% Bright yellow colour on the body, milky, very hazy, with a decent sized white head sitting on top, a bit thin and frothy, with average retention. That colour alone though made it for me. Aroma of mango, grass, citrus, grapefruit, light sour notes. Very bitter taste from the beginning, lots of citrus, grapefruit. Light orange peel, tropical fruits. Long lasting bitterness on the aftertaste. Medium body with soft carbonation, mildly dry palate. Really great beer.

Taste is low to medium sweet wheat, fruity and strong grapefruit, citrus hoppy, some peppery notes, straw, yeast, quite saison like, medium+ bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation, crisp. (on tap, LCBF 2015)
