COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Omnipollo Fatamorgana (8%). Drawing inspiration from the fidelity of a saison - rustic, alluringly cloudy and crisp - this double IPA was brewed using oats and wheat. Dry-hopped twice and completely untouched post fermentation to preserve aroma and flavor.

Poured from a fresh bottle into a pint glass (didn’t have any others at the time). Nice, slightly hazy, golden-yellow pour with a bright white head. Grapefruit on the nose, a hoppy and citrusy but not too bitter DIPA. Not boozy. Excellent beer

En fût au Row 34. Bière blonde avec col de mousse. Nez de blé, d’herbes avec levure saison, faibles fruits. Au goût, rusticité, houblons frais, herbes et poivre. En bouche, corps souple. En finale, blé + longue amertume.

If you like a bitter IPA you will like this. The wheat and Oats will over welm you at first but the hoppy after taste lingers on more then most. spruce, citrus, grass, floral, cereal, hay, alcohol, bread, hay, spruce, grass, grass, citrus, floral, alcohol, This is a pricey bomber 12 bucks. But well worth the treat once and a while. Was told it was far better than born yesterday (one of my all time favorites) It’s close but a shade bit less of the mosaic hop taste i search for. but the bitterness makes up for it.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear yellow with a small lasting creamy off white head. Aromas of straw, grapefruit and pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, earthiness, pine and a hint of grapefruit with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

On draught
Pale golden with a good head & decent lace.

Aroma is leafy & fruity hops, a touch of graininess & a touch of honey. Mango & citrus zest forward, very inviting.

Very melon & grapefruit forward, a lil boozy but not out of control. Fairly dry with a medium level of bitterness.

Tasty

Pours hazy light orange with a thin white head. Smells of apricots and pine, with plenty of malt sweetness. Taste is similar to the smell, with pine bitterness and a touch of alcohol. Mouthfeel is somewhat creamy, medium body and carbonation with bitterness. Overall it feels like an old school IPA. Its nice but nothing to go hunting after. Disappointwd on this one.

Pours a cloudy golden with a rich white head. Orange, grapefruit, onion, and white pepper nose. Flavors approximate the nose. Finishes like a saison.
