Svart med lavt lys brunt skum. Lukter espresso, noe trevirke og salt lakris. Smaker salt, lakris, alkohol, rosiner og mřrke frukter. Medium lang salt-bitter ettersmak.

Draft at torst with Linh. Pours a deep brownish black with thin tan lacing. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with notes of sweet melted marshmallows(!), fudge, chocolate brownie, light earthy roast and some mild bitterness. Really solid.

Pours black with a ring of tan head. Aroma has notes of roasty malts, dark chocolate, hints of vanilla, bourbon barrel, slight dark fruits, and a touch of coffee. Taste starts with dark chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon whiskey, then espresso, then alcohol, and a big, bitter ending. Medium-full body with a low carbonation. Syrupy mouth feel with a dry finish.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some bourbon, chocolate and vanilla, a little sweetness, and some more malts. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Smooth texture. A really cool beer.

Bourbon, vanilla, dark malts, chocolate, espresso, booze. Quite aggressive and roasted, big vanilla aroma but not as much on the taste, very oaky and semi full viscosity.

330 ml bottle. Courtesy of Euphemos. Black colour with a tiny tan head. Sweetness, farmyardy notes, vanilla, mild nuts and cacao in the aroma. The flavour is alcohol, vanilla, coffee and malt. Much better than the original version. Too carbonated. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour out of bottle at Darkness Day 2014, thanks Brad! Thick black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of lots of marshmallow, roasted sugars, dark chocolate into bourbon, oak, vanilla notes with a hint of caramel. Taste was a nice mix of chocolate, roast, coffee into a bit of marshmallow, brownie, and vanilla into bourbon, finishing sweet. Tasty.

Bottle at Örebro Ölcafé. Smell of candy and roasted sugar, chocolate, vanilla and bourbon. Similar taste. Almost no carbonation (which doesn’t bother me). Sweet and slightly boozy. Nice!

Pours a deep brown with a fractional, mocha head which soon disappears. Aroma is vanilla, bourbon and dark chocolate. Taste is bourbon, vanilla, slight hint of marshmallow powderiness, sweet chocolate drops and a slightly coffee bitter finish. Full bodied with a velvety finish. Slight alcohol warmth present.
