Bottle 33 cl, BBE 08.05.2015. Pours bronze in color with a foamy off-white head. Bit of soapy notes, some mild floral notes as well in aroma. Bitter grassyness, mild soapy and floral notes in taste. Quite refreshing actually.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle @ home, picked up at Mile High Denver. Pours a bit hazy, orange appearance with a big, cream colored head. Bright, chewy yeasty, bready, lemon/orange citrusy, biscuity aroma. Fairly refreshing, light white wine, grapefruity, chewy bready flavor that finishes a little tangy with some tropical fruits. Not bad.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at the crib. Pour is hazy orange with a fluffy white head and great lacing. Sweet grapefruity, orange peel, light vanilla, sweet caramelly, slightly earthy, bready, and cake in the aroma. Taste is grapefruit peel, mandarin oranges, bready, sweet malty, caramel, and earthy with a lightly bitter finish. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Pretty decent IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy orange pour with fluffy white head, aroma brought notes of orange, grapefruit, lemon peel, hints of grass, lots of biscuit and bread, slight yeasty spice. Taste is a mix of mostly orange, slightly old hops but to be expected from a pale ale from overseas, nice grass, biscuit, nice grapefruit and tropical fruit notes with some pineapple, finishing slightly bitter, with some fruity sweetness. Tasty.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Lightly hazed honey-colored body with a patchy off-white head. Strongly fruity nose of American and Kiwi hops: pine and cedar resin, orange, fruit cocktail, spice, etc., and a touch of Vienna or Munich cookie-ish malt in the nose with a clean yeast profile. Highly effervescent (bottle conditioned?), juicy, sweet to semi-sweet, hoppy and vibrant and not excessively bitter. A little slick / syrupy but the body is light enough and carbonation fluffy enough to compensate, AND the carbonation cuts the medium to low sweetness even more making it appear drier than it is, which is a lovely effect.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Head is initially large, frothy, white, fully lasting.
Body is hazy dark yellow, bottle conditioned.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (apricot/peach, orange, flowers), lightly yeasty (basement), with notes of Juicy Fruit gum, mango chutney, hint of cinnamon.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
Wow, a decent beer outta the Proef factory, who would’ve guessed? Very tropical-fruity hop character, nice secondary notes, and none of the dirty/clunky off-notes that Proef is nearly legendary for. Rather light and watery, though, probably the only weak point. Not a repeat-purchase beer for me, but good.

Love these Omnipollo bottles. Hazy golden pour with a fluffy plus sized head. Good bit of carbonation. Nice citrusy punch from the get go with nice earthy tones underneath. Light fruit with grainy malts. Lively mouthfeel. Crisp finish. Nicely done.
