Mazarin is my take on a “thinker’s beer”. Rather than being big and undecipherably complex I wanted to create something that would calm a hop yearning nerve without fuddling the brain too much. In other words, a lavishly hopped ale of judicious ABV — an Extra Special Pale Ale if you will.
In fact, so extra special that it snatched a gold medal at the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2013.

Fresh bottle. Aroma of sweet tropical fruits, oat and a bit of mazarin cake. Pours hazy yellow, frothy one finger head. Medium to light bitterness and with a soft fruity sweetness, not much malt. Medium soft carbonation, medium body, easy drinking and medium soft bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Hazy yellow with a nice creamy head. Splendid aroma of fruity hops, notes of mango, gyava, lychee, orange. Sweetish, flavors of tropical fruits, a bti citrusy, nice crispy bitterness. Light-medium bodied, dry-ish finish with proper carbonation. Refreshing. Cool.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a frothy head. Aroma is a citrus porridge mix. The taste is a lovely combo of grassy hops, citrus and a creamy porridge. I’m really into this beer.
