COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
On a stop over in Baltimore we were hosted by an overwhelmingly hospitable man – Brian Strumke aka Stillwater. Getting hammered drinking his potions - made out of rice and corn - it was with a sense of inspiration that we drove of early in the morning to catch out flight back to Sweden. Nathalius is an imperial IPA brewed with rice and corn. However, fair and alluring as though she might seem this miss will whip you into submission.

Bottled:
Pours hazy, pale brown with a large, thick head; looks like a hefe-weissen in the glass. Aroma is stale malt, bananas, tropical fruits and hops. Thin body. Flavour is a big, aggressive bitterness; resin, pine, turpentine and band aid. Not good, reminds me of Brewdogs Nanny State: massive bitterness but no body to back it up.

Underbart fruktig aroma. En len sötma i aroman. Smaken är mer "tjurig" . Väldigt stor beska inget mer.

courtesy of Toni Flükiger - cloudy blond-orange beer with a persistent white foam; yeasty and earthy aroma, honeyish and herbal; full-bodied, pretty thick, huge bitterness; exotic herbal finish with more honeyish tones - quite impressive

Ja, det här tyckte jag om, en riktigt trevlig öl. Dock var jag rejält berusad vid intagandet av ölen så man bör kanske ta den här rateingen med en nypa salt.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013, 10/08/13. Lightly hazed pale golden with a thin off white head. Nose is light piss, mango, grapefruit, juciy hops. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, mineral notes, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dryish finale. Ok stuff.

En för spretig öl. Beskan slår sönder de övriga smakerna. Det man kommer ihåg av ölen är explosionen av besk smak.

Draught (Bishops Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm) - Hazy golden with a small head. Peach, passion fruit and smell socks (!!) in the aroma. Hoppy, harsh and slightly buttery taste with grapefruit, popcorn, peach and a harsh bitterness in the finish. Not really my thing, and it was difficult to finish the glass.

On tap at Bishops Arms in Örebro. It had a hoppy herbal smell. Allot of hops in the taste as well but also an extremely light body. Extremely bitter and very unbalanced. We where several guys at the bar and nobody could finish this. A drainpour if I would have had it at home.

Draught at bishop’s arms Örebro. Ar: grapefruit, resin, pine, lots of malt, very unusual, rice and corn giving it a quality that is hard to put into words, alcohol. Ap: amber colour, medium off-white head, lacing. T: extremely bitter, very interesting, then come alcohol and some weird malty flavours, really weird and hard to describe, loooong lingering bitterness. P: lively carbonation, medium/full body. T: an extreme beer.
