3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Low fluffy white and quickly disappearing head. Hazy yellow green body. Pine lemon and grapefruity aroma and flavor with a nice and relatively strong hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Long dry and bitter finish. Alcohol well hidden by the bitterness.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a huge white head that retains well and leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit rind and grains. Taste is a grapefruit bitterness with a grainy malty sweetness. This brew is much like having a fresh white grapefruit for breakfast. A little one dimensional, but still a very well crafted beer.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a hazy straw-hued orange body with a large creamy white head. Aroma is grapefruit, rose water, peaches, citric peel and hints of syrup and pineapple. A bit perfumy, all in all, but still quite nice. Taste is a different story - harsh bitter tones of resin, medicine and pine quench most of the fruitiness, with only a bit of earthy leaves, cellar must and hints of rose water and peaches in the back. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Whatever difference the corn/rice setup may or may not have made, it totally drowns in a disproportionate hop schedule which pretty much ruins the ball.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Olympen. Hazy golden colour with no head. Aroma is hoppy with lots of resin and piney notes. Some sugar, caramel and malts. Flavour is bitter. Lots of hops and malts. Pine, citrus. Long aftertaste. Feels more double IPA than a regular IPA.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 11.10.2013, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is grassy, newly cut lawn, leafs, light malts, citrus peel. Taste is horribly harsh grassy, leafs, bark, cardboard, newly cut lawn, pine nedles, weeds. Longlasting harsh bitterness. Horrible!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Color ámbar con espuma generosa blanca. Aromas de hierba, pino. En boca es fresca de inicio con un final amargo intenso, seco y duradero que recuerda al pino, hierbabuena y resinas. Se disfruta.

0.33 l bottle. It almost looks like a wheat beer. Very bitter from the beginning and out. Not your standard 2xIPA and not my favourite.

3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Massive head that doesnt look very rich and equally massive citrus aroma. Unfiltered beer from quality Phantom brewery Omnipollo. Was surprised to see this DIPA on the regular shelves as Omnipollo usually gets a lot of attention. The taste is more bitter than the aroma. Would have been nice with the fruitiness in the taste too. Still good but sort of an parenthesis when coming to such a hyped brewery. For example, the DIPA from Eskilstuna is better.
