“Neb” is a home brew recipe that has been scaled up with no consideration to economies of scale. Some say idiotic, and as an economist I would have to agree. Get fresh or die trying.

Oh this is a good beer. Hands down it’s a fantastic beer. But with just too much Co2 for my taste. The taste is fantastic. It’s a gold nugget ....

33cl bottle from Systembolaget. The ’neb’ is one of two DIPA’s contending for the No.1 place on my personal "swedish DIPA’S"-list. Fruity, hoppy with tropical fruit.

Bottle, 8.5%. Mild citric hop aroma, hint of mango. Hazy golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour starts off quite bitter. Stays dry until the finish. Has a decent citrus flavour but is not really juicy. I would have liked a bit more sweetness to counter the bitterness and alcohol.

Bottle. Pours hazy orangeish amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with notes of fruit and malt. Intense, bitter, hoppy flavour with a good deal of fruit, orange peel and malt. Estery hints towards the finish. Smooth and bitterish afteraste. Well-balanced and enjoyable, although not very typical of the style - rather dry. A nice one.

Considering this is well before the best before date, it’s fair to rate it I guess. Fruity hop aroma, but a think bitter malty beer with very unbalanced flavour. This is definitely of but it did not do so well getting there

Bottle from a Systembolaget in Stockholm. BB 17.12.2016. Too bad this was the only (not including the APA) Omnipollo I found while in Stockholm... Anyway. It pours a surprisingly light amberish-orangeish colour, the head’s average in size, off-white, nicely retaining and lacing. Lots of small bits in the second pour. The aroma is... cat pee. Then some more cat pee, and... did I mention cat pee? The pervert in me likes it... Also, tropical fruits, bitter resin and sweet malts on second fiddle. Taste is sweet and bitter... Way too unbalanced towards the extreme bitterness. Alcohol kinda hidden but I know it’s there. Carbonation above average for a DIPA. Needs more body, more thickness and sweetness to balance out the burning sensations... - I imagine some folks enjoying this, but then again, some folks enjoy cutting themselves too. Overall? A fckn robust DIPA, among the most unrefined and unenjoyable I’ve had.
