4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie consumed at home on Thursday 6th April 2016 . Pours a murky yellowy light brown colour with a soft textured creamy white head. A fresh and fruity clean nose. A fruity citrussy flavour that really opens up, warming with a lovely bitterness and nice sweet edge. Lovely soft mouthfeel, nice carbonation, a lovely beer, juicy tropical slightly boozy elements take over. This is one of those beers that just gets better and better at it slips down. 3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
BB 12/03/17. Poured a clouded orangey amber colour with a one- to two-finger cream coloured foamy head that retained well and laced OK. Carbonation moderate to high and fine with a soft mouthfeel. Aroma of citrus/grapefruit, passionfruit and pine. Taste initially strongly of pine followed by grapefruit and sweet caramel then with a hint of passionfruit; a nice balance between bitterness and sweetness; alcohol well hidden. Light to medium body. Crisp, soft and refreshing with a lingering moderate bitterness on the finish. Very nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly hazy golden orange from the bottle with thin white bubbly head. Aroma of slight citrus hops, caramel and biscuit malts, and a hint of booze. A first, the taste was mostly the malt, but as the second step started to coat my mouth, huge resinous citrus hop notes came out. The booze was well hidden on the mouth, with moderate carbonation, a clean body, overall a really nice double IPA.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bought this gem at Bierhalle Deconinck. Citrus, exotic fruits, very malty backbone, this one dirnks away so well. Can well compete with American IIPA’s. One of the best European’s in the style.
