3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Torst. Pours hazy copper with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of floral, fruity, and citrusy hops plus a nice light maltiness and some dough. Flavor the same with a good blend of everything. Average texture. A pretty good double IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
33cl bottle pours with a deep gold body that has a slight haze and supports a thin off white head. The aroma is thick and rich with citrus grapefruit and clementine mixing with some sweet malts and a touch of grassiness. The taste starts pretty smooth yet rich with malts and a thicket of citrusy hop flavor that rolls right into firm levels of grapefruit, tangelo and clementine citrus hoppy bitterness. It maintains a full sweet malt base even as it gets resiny and a touch mineral like toward the finish. The after taste pulls up an additional unexpected note of floral hops. Very nice hoppy brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a thin white head. Aroma of toffee, fruit, citrus. Mostly a dank grapefruit taste with bits of grass and bread. Lingering bitter finish. Good, but I’m not clear on why it’s one of 30 great IPAs to drink before I die.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Solid DIPA! Aromas of grapefruit, pear, pineapple and a floral grassy essence. The pour is a bright and glowing yellowish orange with a silky lacing filled white head. A sweet and resinous flavour profile overall with a heavy bitterness and mild pine flavour. Just a great brew.

Taste is a tropical fruit and grainy malt sweetness with a citrus and spicy hop bitterness. Medium bodied with nice carbonation providing a pleasant sensation on the palate. A well done and definitely recommended DIPA.
