3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours golden, maybe a bit on the orange side, with a small white head. Aroma is full-on - floral and fruity pungent hops that are balanced with some sweeter fruity notes. Maybe a hint, only a hint of alcohol that is also abundantly packed into this brew. Hop-attack in the taste is imminent - in the best West Coast fashion, the beer is quite dry but very resiny, hops spiking your tongue as you take the sip. Fruitiness is there to balance things out and does it extremely well, this beer is as balanced as a beam with two same weight pans. I might wish for some more body but I guess that the brewer intended this to be easy-drinking. It is dangerously so, 8,5% is nowhere to be felt. No wonder this beer has so high marks, it deserves it.

330ml bottle. Hazy golden-orange body, medium white head, good retention. Aroma of tropical and stone fruits, honey, flowers, a touch of ginger and pepper. Taste dominated by the piney hops, orange candies, honey, again some ginger. Ok.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rusted orange pour with an average off-white head that leaves a decent amount of lace. Dense citrus dominates the nose with some lighter pine notes and caramel underneath. Mostly the same on the palate. Finishes with a lot of that dense citrus note and high bitterness. A quality brew but it doesn’t really stand out in the sea of IIPAs for me.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from Systembolaget Strömstad. Pours golden. Average amount of white head. Lots of citrus, grapefruit and some alcohol nose. Low carbonation and thick, oily mouth feel (true to style). Quite bitter, but not over the top. Clementine, some grapefruit, some lemon and pine flavour. Very good!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from a some Gothenburg Systembolaget. Poured a hazy light amber with a creamy white head. The aroma is big yeast, orange citrus. The flavour is strong bitter with a rich woody, resin hop light pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A beast of a DIPA! One of the best i’ve had.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Fine hoppy-fruity aroma. Starts dry-malty, quite hoppy-bitter, less fruity than exspected. Finish dry-malty, less hoppy. Okay.
