3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jbeatty (542) - New York, USA - APR 5, 2013
Bottle, 04/05/2013. Pours a hazy burnt orange, medium fluffy head with excellent retention, thick lacing and active carbonation. Aroma is huge grapefruit and pine resin, toasted caramel malts. Taste is similar, citrusy grapefruit with big piney bitterness, dark toasted caramel, dry lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium palate, not too thick which is good. Nice.

A hazy orange golden beer which glows in the glass, looks great, the aroma is packed full of grapefruit citrus hops, smells great too. It’s a sticky fruity IPA with a massive bitter, but still very pleasant finish. Outstanding IPA.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 hopscotch (8242) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Bottle... This beer rocks!… Mostly clear dirty-orange ale. Juicy tropical fruits are front-and-center in the bouquet. Full-bodied and velvety with modest carbonation. Wow! This is one bad-ass, violently bitter beer. There is no residual sweetness in the flavor or the lengthy, bitter finish - even as the beer attains room temperature. Many thanks to Plovmand for shipping this world class bad boy all the way across the pond!
