3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy gilded orange body with thin white foam leaving some residual traces. Fragrant perfume combined with tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, and resinous aromas on the backend. Tastes of herbals, hay, florals and pine. Citrus and apricot notes layered throughout with hints of sweet malts. A medicinal aspect on the back, but drowned out by a strong bitter finish. Well balanced IIPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy yellow beer, white head. Nose is a very nice and fresh blend of cucumber notes with fruit, malt, some toastiness. Flavor is very citric, lots of oranges, toasty malt, mango, lychee. Finishes with mild but strong hoppy bitterness, more tropical fruit. Feels fresh and light, but not watery in the slightest. Top notch.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, 33cl. Pours a hazy, light amber with a white, long lasting head. Aroma is very fresh and fruity, grape fruit, very piny, grassy, hoppy, strong but pale malt profile. Slight orange. Taste has a very high bitterness, but is smoothened out by a nice, but again fairly pale malt sweetness. Slight citric tartness and dryness. Very citrus-peel-like dry finish. Very old school IIPA! Average carbonation and a smooth but dry body. I dig dis fo sho!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very full aroma. This one takes the ipa squared approach rather than the make everything barley wine heavy approach, and I like it. It certainly gives this beer lots of reasons to exist, as it’s quite special how the loads of zesty hops can be combined with a very full mouth feel. Amazing brew, again from Omnipollo! 4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This was an 11.2 fl oz bottle dated best before 7th August 2016 on the bottle cap and poured into a snifter glass. It poured a hazy golden orange colour with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly leaving nice spotty lacing. Right from the pour you get a strong tropical fruit aroma. Mainly mango and pineapple followed by some citrus grapefruit, zest and pine. I thought the smells were amazing and raring to burst out at me. Tastes of citrus hop bitterness up front with grapefruit and mandarin orange followed by some light tropical fruit… maybe pineapple and peach, but still the bitterness pushes through. There’s also a strong malt caramel background and slight sweetness from this, but it gets covered by the bitterness quickly and the lasting aftertaste is bitter with a small hint of tropical fruit. It is medium bodied with light carbonation and has a dry finish. Overall, this was a very nice DIPA. The strong aromas set a high standard to begin with. I find most DIPAs have too much malt caramel sweetness in its taste for me, but in this case I absolutely loved the hop bitterness shining through. The slight fruitiness also helped here. Its on the expensive side, but I will definitely consider buying this again.
