“Neb” is a home brew recipe that has been scaled up with no consideration to economies of scale. Some say idiotic, and as an economist I would have to agree. Get fresh or die trying.

BB 12/03/17. Poured a clouded orangey amber colour with a one- to two-finger cream coloured foamy head that retained well and laced OK. Carbonation moderate to high and fine with a soft mouthfeel. Aroma of citrus/grapefruit, passionfruit and pine. Taste initially strongly of pine followed by grapefruit and sweet caramel then with a hint of passionfruit; a nice balance between bitterness and sweetness; alcohol well hidden. Light to medium body. Crisp, soft and refreshing with a lingering moderate bitterness on the finish. Very nice.

33cl bottle. Cloudy orange golden colour with a nice off-white head. Caramel, biscuits, pine, pineapple, citrus and grapefruit in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is moderate sweet up front with caramel and fruity notes changing to moderate bitter with pine notes. Very well balanced and multi-dimensional. Overall, a very good beer.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2016 33cl bottle. Semi-transparent orange with a tall white head that gives way to a sticky lacing. Grapefruit, caramel, pineapple, papaya, unripe mango and a bit of pine. Perfect texture, super smooth and sticky sweet yet not cloy, with a salty-bitter aftertaste.

330ml bottle served in a regular glass. Enjoyed at Craftissimo - Hong Kong
Pours a cloudy orange color forming a medium creamy and persistent light yellow head. Tons of lacings formed and left in the glass. Nose is sweet and grassy. Strong notes of pale and caramel malts, pine, grass, resin and orange zest. Tropical fruits like passion fruit and ananas. Slightly sweet upfront taste. Very sweet, caramelish and grassy beer. Strong notes of orange zest and grapefruit. Great bittersweet taste balance. Strong hops bitter punch. Heavy body. Medium carbonation. Smooth texture. Grass, pine and caramel malts in the aftertaste. Great drinkability. Masterpiece IIPA from Omnipollo.

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange from the bottle with thin white bubbly head. Aroma of slight citrus hops, caramel and biscuit malts, and a hint of booze. A first, the taste was mostly the malt, but as the second step started to coat my mouth, huge resinous citrus hop notes came out. The booze was well hidden on the mouth, with moderate carbonation, a clean body, overall a really nice double IPA.

Bought this gem at Bierhalle Deconinck. Citrus, exotic fruits, very malty backbone, this one dirnks away so well. Can well compete with American IIPA’s. One of the best European’s in the style.

In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with loads resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, orange pulp, very nice and smooth. LCBO Bottle, Bb 05/02/16.
