Doften är ljuvligt fruktig och smaken är likadan med en väl tilltagen beska. Kroppen är stabil och ölen upplver jag som helt obalanserad med tanke pĺ sin kraftiga beska.

Draft. Hazy copper with small off white head. Aroma of citrus (grapefruit) and floral hops. Medium body with strong citrus bitterness upfront balanced with a malt backbone and a nice bitter finish. One of the best Imperial IPAs I’ve had.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Summer fruit aroma. Summer fruit and light pine flavor with light malt. Medium bodied. Nice bitterness. Summer fruit and light grapefruit lingers with light pine.

Halvány, méz sárga színe van, belül átlátszatlanul opálos. Habja terjedelmes, enyhén sárgás, csipkés, tömör és kitartó. Ez alól a habpaplan alól egy igen intenzív, déligyümölcsös, édeskés, mézes, illat hömpölyög elő, keveredve kecskecsöcsű szőlővel, borókával és fenyőrügyekkel, rengeteg komlóval. Ízében rendkívüli egyensúlyban hintáznak egymással ezek az aromák, hol a édes, gyümölcsös, malátás aromák emelkednek meg, hol pedig a gyantás, férfiasan keserű komlóhegyek törnek a csúcs felé. Elég sűrű és testes, apró buborékokkal pezseg és a magas alkoholtartalom nem tolakodó. Utóíz keserédes és igen száraz, hosszan tartó. Ez bizony kibeba.zott jó!

Overwhelming aroma full of citrus and pine. Extremely hyped beer in Sweden and yet I’m not disappointed. Will have this lovely brew again even IF its pricey.

Draft at Monks Cafe. Cloudy amber pour with a soft meringue head. Rows of lace. Big fuzzy bitter hops. Soft amber fruits with a hard bite. Clementines and razorblades. Violin resin. Apricot pits. Sandpaper. One part gentle orange sweetness vs. three parts numbing bitterness. About as good as overhopped citrus gets. One big pithy kiss.

Purchased at Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont, MA; enjoyed from my hotel room on a rainy day while doing some work in Bar Harbor, ME. This stuff is extremely good and I’m happy to have purchased this. Appearance is a vibrant, slightly cloudy gold with a rich white head that laces to the glass. Aroma is rich in caramel malt with a pleasant hop backing, mixed with citrus and pine. Taste goes down with a nice light burn, relatively bitter, nice citrus and pine note mixture, definite grapefruit notes, goes down very nicely. One of the better DIPA’s I’ve had for sure.

Hazy golden pour with big eggy head. Apricot +Grapefruit citrus nose. Spicy hops with a complex middle. Bitter, faintly boozy finish. Medium density sticky body.
A great beer although my pour tasted slightly "off".

Kaatuu lasiin kullankeltaisena, ehkä hieman oranssiin vivahtavana, ja sameana. Vaahto on melko runsas, kestävä ja vahvaa pitsiä jättävä. Hajussa on valtavasti trooppista hedelmää, vähemmän löytyy havumetsää neulasineen ja pihkoineen. Keksiä/vohvelia ja karamellista makeuttakin on mukana, ja kaiken kaikkiaan haju on todella aromaattinen. Maku on ihan alkuun makea, mutta heti perään tulee kuivan katkeran havuisen humalan aalto ja kuivattaa suuta. Maussa on myös hieman puuta ja keksiä ja tasapainoinen, mutta lievää tunkkaisuutta löytyy. Suutuntuma on hyvin kuiva ja katkera, kuten yllä on jo sanottu, mutta hyvin tasapainoinen. Kuiva ja tasapainoinen DIPA, jonka hajussa on vahvaa tropiikin hedelmätarhaa, mutta maussa on todella vahvaa havumetsää. Laadukas olut, jossa hyvin lievä tuhkaisuus vaivasi.
