“Neb” is a home brew recipe that has been scaled up with no consideration to economies of scale. Some say idiotic, and as an economist I would have to agree. Get fresh or die trying.

Bottled. Cloudy deep golden color with rich hop induced foam. Lots of tropical fruits in aroma which is balanced and not only fresh squeezed juice. Full mouthfeel with a nice maltiness backbone before a pretty massive happiness sets in. Bitterness feels almost aggressive and one-dimensional, meaning it comes quick and big. Solid 2IPA!

Wow. Wonderful hoppy bouquet wafts out of the glass. Tropical fruits and citrus are the focus. Fiery orange colour and a white foam cap. The flavour has the sweetness from the malt sharply contrasted with the big smack of assertive bitterness from the hops. Not an aggressive, throat scratching bitterness, but a pleasant, well integrated bitterness that adds dimension to the beer. Medium bodied and a long lingering finish that is dominated by holy aromatics and bitterness. Best double IPA I’ve had in a while.

Poured from a 355ml bottle, aroma is all grapefruit, thin white head lots of lacing on the glass. Big grapefruit taste with some pine on the end, hides the alcohol well very smooth beer.

My oh my, look who we’ve let into Canada. Pop the cap off this beauty & right away your nose is slapped with a bouquet of squeezed citrus & dripping peaches. Fantastic stuff. Pours a bright tangerine dream with a slushy cap. Flavour is pure hop bomb with grapefruit & swirls of summer fruit. I love this, grow weak in the knees just writing this, becoming paranoid that the supply at my local liquor store is too small, that other local hop heads are plotting against me. Damn.

330ml bottle. Best before 05/02/16. Pours a hazy orange with a one and a half finger, white head that laces well. Aroma has big notes of pineapple, pine, resin, and orange citrus. Taste is a strong bitter. Large notes of pineapple, and orange citrus. Almost like orange sherbet or creamsicle. Pine, resin, and a mild alcohol. Mild bitter aftertaste. Medium-full body with a medium carbonation. Smooth in the mouth. Not quite syrupy. Light and lively carbonation. Overall a tasty brew. Big pineapple and orange citrus notes. Light and very drinkable. Well worth a drink.

BB label says 05/02/16 from LCBO. Great, wonderfully fruity aroma. Grapefruit, tropical fruit (passion, mango) come through with a hint of sweet malt, great stuff. Very effervescent, big long lasting white head. Golden, hazy. Tastes great, more on the malty side than overly hoppy upfront, but some of that tropical fruit comes through. Finishes with bitter hops, hint of sweet malt and a great juicy flavor. Medium bodied and average carbonation. Although I’m not sure how fresh this one was, it turned out to be a great DIPA!

Pours cloudy golden white head. Aroma is hoppy with grass and pine. Taste is untensely hopped with malt balancing. Would have liked more sweetness from the malt, but its nice.

In short: a sweet bitter ale.
Pours hazy golden with some white head. Short head retention, some lacing. Malty, caramel, aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Taste is quite bitter, malty, caramel. Sweet aftertaste. Enjoyable.

floral, citrus, resin. Excellent aroma. Orange clear, white foamy head. Medium sweetness, medium sourness, medium bitter. Not very interesting palate, bit oily perhaps.
