Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours clear blonde with a thick white head and a citrus aroma. There is a slightly sweet light malt flavor with a very bitter finish. An interesting brew. Pretty earthy for an amarillo.

A tall, frothy, tight white head floats over a pale, lightly hazed straw body, medium thick islands and peninsulas of dimensional lace surround the glass

Funky, sweaty, creamy lemon and tropical fruit on a crisp, clean, smooth, well carbonated light plus body with accents of white pepper, and drying, lean, earthy-tropical residuals, solid intensity, smooth transitions, decent complexity, very refreshing

22oz bottle served at 45° into 14.7oz Zwiesel Cognac snifter

Gold color and a large white head. Usually I wouldn’t think of corn or rice as a good thing in beer but it works here. Yeast aroma. Sour flavor with soil and plants. Good.

Pours a light yellow gold color. It’s opaquely hazy. Just a solid block of color with some glow at the edges. Somewhat rocky white head. Good retention. Nice enough looking beer. The aroma is dominated by a mix of hoppy and yeasty notes with a mild bready malt background. Lots of fruit flavors bouncing around. I’m getting lemon, pineapple, grass, peppercorn, tangerine, grape, blackberry, raspberry, apricot. Lots of nice stuff, though I’m not sure what’s from the hops and what’s from the yeast. I have no idea if they used brett with this beer, but I’d guess yes based on the flavors. It’s a very clean fruitiness. The taste is quite dry with lots of hop flavor. It has a clean yeasty presence. Lots of fruit. Mild to moderate bitterness. Pale malt way in the back. Lemon rinds, pepper, grass, pineapple pith, pretty much the dry, bitter, spicy version of what I previously described. Very easy to drink. Fairly effervescent, which seems to be a theme with Westbrook-brewed hoppy stuff. Medium light body. There’s a lot of flavor. Very nice beer. Seems kinda underrated here.

Bomber. A hazy white golden yellow beer that has a big fluffy white head that has good retention. Earthy malts and yeast are nice. A hint of citrus and bret underneath. The funk is tasted first in the flavor and it is lemony. Pepper and some other spice. Grass and something airy like in spruce. In the end the funk and lemon grass took over with those malts behind. A very nice beer.

Draft - Lemon, grassy and farmhouse notes. Cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Effervescent, farmhouse, hay and a hoppy bitterness. Nice and funky with nice bitterness.
