Wild Queen reigns over a kingdom of sour, spice, and fruit. Rich aromas of ripe, red raspberry and tannic oak command the nose. Hints of spicy red wine and leathery Brett balance with flavors of sweet, caramel brandy to give the beer its robust character. She is a carnal endeavor. A tempest of indulgence. A truly Wild Queen. A Wild Saison, aged in both red wine barrels and California Brandy Barrels with fresh, local raspberries & Brett Yeast.

Hahahahahahahahaha. Explosion of a bottle onto Sleepydaves ceiling, about a 4 ounce pour left in bottle after the initial explosion. This is what happens when you sell science experiments in a gimmicky box with a hand signed note and a chip of barrel wood. blah blah blasphemy at its finest.

From the OnceMade project...these were bottled a year ago so I guess it’s safe to open. Enjoyed at fridge temp in stemware.

A - 1 finge head, fairly resilient. Flemish red appearance with lots of burnt red, hazy, etc.

S - Slight vinegar notes, floral with fruitiness. Hard to pinpoint any one nose aspect.

T - Very acetic almost like a mix of lemon juice, oranges, copper pennies and flemish rodenbach yeast. Extremely tannic

M - Dry, sour, full bodied. very interesting.

O - This beer also falls short of great. It’s okay but not something I’d seek out.

Bottle thanks to jleblanc! Clear red pour with white head. Aroma of raspberries, quite jammy, fresh fruit, very light acetic notes, a very fruity sourness. Taste is juicy, raspberry jam, light sour twang but more from the fruit than the actual brett it seems, tasty nonetheless. Palate is a tad sweet, light, easy drinking.
