On tab on the brewpub. I was excited about his one as it is one of my favorite styles. This was not bad, but it is not what I expected. Not a sweet and boozy style, but not a hopped up one either. No off flavors, but just not what I expected. Need to try this one again to give it another shot.

Dark pour with only a bit of head. Sweet fruits on the nose and a bit of hops. Overall the taste is a bit weak. Not bad, just different from most barleywines that I have had. Very little to any notes of booze. Overall I enjoyed it but it wasn’t what I was expecting from what I ordered.
