On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy pour with citrus on the nose and in the flavor. Less malt then in the imperial, but still more than I would have liked. I think it took away from the citrus fruits that start to come through. Hops are there but taken out by the malt. The review sounds harder on the brew than what I actually thought. I still thought this was a solid brew.

Deep golden color out of the bottle with a short off white head. Bitter grassy nose. Caramel sweetness with some bread crust, bitter orange, sine fruit and that grassy finish. Solid pale ale

Amber. Nose of soapy citrus and light fruit with caramel malt. Flavor is more soapy citrus with light tropical fruit. Light malt backing.

Solid pale ale. Aromatic (hoppy) and poured haze free amber (from bottle). Solid taste and on point carbonation. I would buy again when in the mood for a pale ale (but to be honest I prefer IPA).

On tap at the brewpub. Comes a somewhat cloudy dark gold with a decent white head. Aroma of malt and citrus. Taste is malt, citrus, tropical, and grass. Nice.

On tap at Up North Bar in Madison, WI. during pre-GToM festivities. Shaker served and showed a fairly clear, medium gold color, with a presentable layer of soft white head foam, and wavy cling to the lacing. The nose was light malt and citrusy orange. Medium bodied, with good carbonation, the taste included a citrusy, rind-like, and earthy bitterness as the esters diminished their expression a bit in the flavor. Some dryness hooked up with the bitterness for the finish. Sessionably decent.

Draft. Copper color. Toasted notes punctuate citrus flavors. Short finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Basic american pale ale, a bit thicker on the malts at 5.7% but a decent drinker.

Great surprise for this beer! Got a growler after trying it at the bar. Poured with a smallish, but thick, off-white, foamy head with a bit of lace. Color is a slightly hazy amber. Aroma, to my lame snooter, is decent, malt, hop, and clean. Flavor’s like nose, bitter is up front along with tang, fairly dry, and tasty. Body is good, ditto carbonation although it is perhaps a bit heavy. Finish is good, very drinkable, and glad I got a growler to share with friends.

Sampled at GTMW 2013. Nice looking, hazy orange pour with a nice eggshell colored head. Aroma of mild citrus hops and sweet bread malts. Flavor has a mild citrus bitterness, touches of caramel and sweet bread. A bit of grassiness come out towards the finish. I’ll have to stop in next time I’m in Madison.
