kramer (1888), sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 17, 2008 10 oz glass, at brewery. Pours a light brown body, slightly hazy, with a small foamy off-white head. The nose is clean, with some light nutty and coffee notes over pale and Munich malts. The flavor is a little sweet with an imitation maple syrup taste and light coffee notes. The more it warmed, the more the cereal grain notes came out. The mouthfeel was light bodied and a little clingy on the finish with light fizzy carbonation. Overall, this really tasted like a modified version of their Berwick Lager, with the addition of some Munich malt. I preferred the Berwick Lager over this just because it was much more crisp.
