2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cask (handpump) at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester at The Alternative WInter Ales Festival. The alcohol content seems to be 0,5% ABV lower than Opa Hay’s normal EPA. A pale copper colored beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and butterscotch, leading to a dry butterscotch finish. Too much butter for my liking.
