An orange beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is dominated by hops, while the flavor is malty with a dry hoppy end.

Bronze; very earthy aroma, lots of aroma, good hop; well-balanced, much more malt than most Czech pale beers, straightforward, bark-like, caramelly (rich) with resiny finish.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Koelschtrinker (8619) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 10, 2011
Trockener Hopfenabgang.
Test vom 25.10.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,8,7,12,8 - 8,25

Bottle (from Pivni Galerie, Prague): Deep golden coloured, medium-sized, firm, but quickly diminishing and lacing white layer; sweet grainy, doughy nose, mixed with a tinge of almost citrousy, herbal hoppiness; slightly sweetish flavour, medium bodied; sweet-malty-.doughy, only slightly bitter finish. Quite well rounded, but not too tasty Special...........
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MartinT (6934) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 31, 2004
UPDATED: MAY 27, 2005 Earthy hops frolicking atop a quaffable malt body...Herbal hop bitterness spicing up the juicy grain oil...Impressively soft for this specialni, a simple bed of grassy, honeyed hay...Opening a window onto a sunny morning...

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Emil (6070) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2005

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 Rastacouere (6058) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 29, 2004
Nice foamy white head over a gold to straw body. Mostly malty aroma with lots of cerealic components reminiscent of parsley and quality grains. Palate is, to me, much more worth profound studies considering its superbly steady malt, hayish components and light grassy hops. It’s fairly light overall despite a considerable 6% ABV, but the mouthfeel is creamy and the body medium to full.
