UPDATED: DEC 29, 2012 Bottle with a label that made me feel underdressed, 11C. Pale amber with a large dense cream head. Vibrant aroma of apricot, peach, dough, spices, flowers, lime leaves. Bittersweet with firm bitterness kicking in straight away. Fruity, dough, slight tartness. Dryish bitter finish with lingering spices and citrus peel. More saison than IPA IMHO (certainly moreso than the Nøgne Ø / Bridge Road India Saison). Anyway, a really joyous beer. [4.0]

Growler. Oh, where’d it go? Heavier on the palate, sweetness and bitterness much more prominent. Nimbler in the bottle with spices and tartness playing a much bigger role. Much more IPA-like - and still pretty good, but more like 3.6. Leaving rating as per bottle.

Tap at MLF. Aroma is fresh, lemony hops, grainy, little bit of sweetness, light fruitiness. Taste is interesting. Has a bit of a hop burn finish. Doesn’t feel so bitter, but it lingers a bit. Sweetness is more pronounced, touch of caramel. But still grainy and quite dry and crisp. Bit of a mixed bag. Not sure what to think. Further down the bitterness fades and is becomes more like a slightly sweet saison.

Thanks for sharing fux! Sampled draft as @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2015. Copper, dark amber,… Sweetish malts, light herbs, sweetish, too much sugar, malt, light dough, orange,… Okay but too sweet for me. Touch sweet spice.
