330 ml bottle from Gradi Plato. Very dark red, looks almost black in the glass, with a big, fluffy, forever lasting light beige head. Powerful and inviting nose, plenty of roasted malts notes, lots of espresso coffee, not too much chocolate. Definitely some cinnamon, mild meaty notes as well. A bit rough and unclean upfront, very toasted and nutty, but much better taste. Lingering coffee and burnt caramel presence, strange but oddly perfect black pepper presence. Slightly warming, but not boozy. Average carbonation, medium body, oily texture. Not the best example of the style overall, but I did enjoyed it.

Finale lunghissimo alcolico e maltato. Troppo alcolica per i miei gusti.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with a biege head. Kind of a weird aroma. Flavors of chocolate, coffee, dry molasses, bitterness, toffee, and burnt toast. Ok

Draught, small long lasting creamy head, pitch black colour, aroma of wood, figs, carob, coffee and dark bread, flavour of dark bread, hints of coffee and dried fruits, medium bitterness, some alcohol showing. Quite nice.

Bottle @ home. Appearance: Pours a very dark brown beer with a huge beige head. Aroma: very malty and slighty piney, hoppy. Taste: starts sweet, ends with some lasting bitterness. Mouthfeel: quite some carbonation, effervescent. Decent beer, maybe a bit too heavy on the bitterness.
