Pours dark amber with a large, lasting head.
Sweet malty aroma, lots of clean malt and confectionery notes. Also some spicy hops and phenols.
Aggressive flavours, lots of hops and booze. Heaps of piny, spicy hops and an aggressive bitterness in the finish. Too much booze.
Body feels very thick.

17/10/2011 Bir&Fud Bottega (375ml bottle). Ambrata, spenta, lievemente torbida, con foglie di luppolo in sospensione, bella schiuma giallognola, molto persistente. Aroma straordinario, di una intensità esagerata, luppolo, agrumato, fiori, sentori erbacei, zuccherosi, di frutta (pesca, lime). In bocca è incredibilmente bilanciata, l’attacco è dolce, poi si fa strada il luppolo, ma senza mai esagerare. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Una delle birre più sorprendenti che abbia mai bevuto.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter flavor with hintso f citrus. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

Cloudy red copper beer, very creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive with nice lacing. Aroma: exotic fruits, pineapple, passion fruit, bit piny, resin, sweet touch. MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: bitter fruity touches, piny, sweet malts, some alcohol, canned peaches. Aftertaste: bitter resin, fruity, dry, more passion fruit and pineapple, grapefruit, very bitter ending.

Molto più IPA che tripel per questa versione speciale della triplipa. Molto ben bilanciata, agrumata e fruttata al punto giusto ma senza nascondere la base dolce del malto.

75cl bottle from GBBF 2011, drank at home. Cloudy dark orange pour with a beige head. Vanilla, tangerine, mango and tropical fruit aroma. Mango, orange peel and light malt flavour. Quite a fruity zing. Sharp, hop finish. Nice.

Nice white and persistent head, deep blonde color, medium-heavy body with hints of caramel and tropical fruit. Amazing and surprising bitterness that reminds me piny, citrus and grapefruit
