May 17, 2008 Courtesy of the most gracious staff at Belmont Station, an under-rated and under-discovered gem, maybe the best lager out there. It shows that with just some aggressive hopping, you can have a top-notch session drink regardless of style.

May 7, 2008 500ml bottle from West Lakeview Liquors. Very hazy dirty yellow with small white head. Aroma is very grassy hops with some off-dry malt sweetness. Flavor is very much grassy and grainy and some off-dry malt as well. Medium, creamy body. This would probably be a lot better fresh.

Instant sharp corn, fuel and leafy hop nose, stenchy, sweaty and sharp, partly from the whole fuesal corn deal and partly from the hops, which are pungent, sharp and oily smelling. Has a sticky and sweet flavor up front, turning quickly to dry, sharp, oily and bitter, with a sharp green vegetal hop oil flavor and an suitable dryness and lingering bitterness. I like it.
