COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Nice beer with a good bitterness. Allthough the finish is too sweet in my opinion. Nice label.

330 ml bottle. Thanks milsem! Deep orange, perfectly clear, with a big, fluffy and persistent yellowish head. Looks great. Relatively powerful nose, very clean, slightly dank as well. Grapefruit and blood orange upfront, pine needles and a hint of caramel malts in the background. Quite "American" taste wise, higher than usual astringency, pretty important mouthfeel, perhaps not completely attenuated. Decent balance between sweet and juicy components and resiny and bitter components. Soft to average carbonation, medium body, slightly oily texture. Nice!

Nice but to mainstreem. I miss complexity. But I really enjoy the Amarillo. Stable had and beautiful colour. Smells great, still only Amarillo as it sticks out the most. Beautiful beer but one really needs to want only one hopp. If other hopps just would be more prevalent in taste that would give a great palate.

I can’t believe I missed to rate this one. Classic. Aroma of light malts with grapefruit and pine. Medium sweet flavor combined with citrus, lime, bread, and pine. This baby could be one of the most solid beer from Oppigårds.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear amber with a white head. Citrus, grapefruit, and a little spicy aroma, hoppy citrus bitterness in the mouth. Medium body, juicy orange-clementine finish.

Bottle. Deep orange colour, between fizzy and frothy carbonation. Pleasant bitter smell of, well, Amarillo. Bitterness is also present in the taste - although some metal and some water makes it not as rich as one could have hoped. Overall, though, very good.

33cl bottle. Pours clear light orange with a big head, not very stable though. Floral grassy nose, very strong for an IPA. Sweet but bitter taste, lots of hops too.
