3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle carried back from Systembolaget Luleå by Gaute. Shared with Finn during a rating session. Slightly hazy, amber coloured body. Off-white head with lots of bubbles. Dotted spots on the glassware. Malt-fruity smell with hints of pine. Taste of mild, red oranges mixed with juicy malts. Bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Satisfying (Tromsø, 11.09.2012).

Flaske 0,33l. Spandert av og delt med Rune under ratesammenkomst hos ham 11 Sep 12. Gyldenbrun. Høyt kremaktig skum som klistrer seg til glasset. God fruktaroma. Smaken er søt & fruktig. God - men blir litt ensformig.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Good, hoppy, very hoppy. However I feel this beer is a tad overrated. It lacks a good head and the aroma is nothing special. But a great taste, intense and hoppy. I like it!

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at ABC beers Den Haag. Clear copper pour, thin white head and a little lace. Now this is quite a special and unusual beer. There is all the flavour and bitterness from the hops but it's extremely smooth with less bitterness on the palate. A really awesome beer. This one was a little warm but I'm looking forward to one thats a little cooler.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Pours darkish amber and copper with thick, fine white head. Aroma of mainly citric fruits, but some berries and sweet malt, too. Citric fruits and berries in the flavour as well, with surprisingly much malty sweetness. Bitter aftertaste with some malt as well.

Golden yellow with decent white foam head. Aroma is hoppy all the way, so is the taste. I like it, nice bitter, strong. Good long bitter aftertaste. (Göthenborg 201208)

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 330ml. A clear copper colour with a small head. A hoppy aroma with fresh citrus, grass and floral notes. Flavour is very malty, with some roasted nuts, sweet caramel and citrus fruits. A slightly syrupy but bitter, nutty finish. Moderate carbonation. A flavoursome and enjoyable brew.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2012 En favorit. Bärnstensfärgad med ett fint vitt skum. Luktar lite fruktgodis nästan, mycket humle - gräsigt och fruktigt. Luktar även lite karamell.
Smakar underbart gott, ligger fint i munnen och beskan är grymt god.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Medium amber body that is absolutely clear. Off-white and rather creamy head that stays large for quite some time before reducing to a fully lasting layer that laces the glass well. A very strong and extremely hoppy aroma, this is almost like smelling hop pellets! Lots of sweet fruits and berries, quite much tropical fruits like ripe peach, mango and citrus, also strawberries. An almost soapy perfume like feel in the back. For once the sweetness of the aroma is there in the taste as well, the moderate sweetness is as dominating as the moderate bitterness. I guess I’m trying to say that this is very well balanced, although I might imagine that some will find this too sweet. Quite strong flavours with lots of fruits, the citric notes are the most obvious. Even stronger than the fruits are resin, grass and… well… hops. Backing up this hop soup is a firm sweet caramel flavour. The beer feels smooth, almost oily on the palate, it’s medium bodied (I guess all the sweetness makes this APA feel fuller than many other of its kind) and has a soft to medium carbonation. A very nice and unusually hoppy beer without being particularly bitter. The hops have mainly been used for late and dry hopping in this one, I presume.
