COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

An intoxicating aroma of flowers and grass. The taste is a refreshening balance of citrus, apples, with some hop bitterness and subtle maltyness. Aftertaste has nutty characters. Overall a very pleasant experience of a beer

On tap @ Patricks. Amber body with a small off-white head. Nice citric aroma with peaches, grapefruit and some pine. Flavor is quite light malty with lots of citric and a fine balanced bitterness. Not particular complex, but a really nice thirst-quencher.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2010 Bottle. It is a clear, dark golden beer with a small, off-white head. Dusty, citrusy hops with some pale malts on the nose. The flavor has malty sweetness as a base, with citrusy hops up front, giving a pleasant bitterness. Medium body, smooth. Lasting bitter and citrusy finish. A really drinkable beer, and both quenching and tasteful as well. Rating: 7-3-6-3-14-3.3. 100611

On tap at Patricks, as Oppigårds Amarillo. It’s a crystal clear light amber beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is very peachy, with citrus and some pine cones. Not much maltyness, but some caramel sweetness can be found. It’s medium bodied and dry, with some sweet caramel in the back. A good lasting bitterness is also present, and flavors of peaches and orange peel. A really pleasant one, both quenching and tasteful, well suited to wash down my fries, chicken wings, olives, onion rings and jalapenos. 101008
