Bottle. High creamy and lasting off-white head. Clear amber body. Hops dominated malty pine flavor with low carbonation and a long bitter aftertaste.

Appearance: 3/5 Clear copper liquid with a medium sized white foam that left some lacing. Smell: 8/10 Lots of hops and very fresh, almost like smelling a bag of hops, also some grass, grapes, grapefruit and citrus. Taste: 9/10 Fresh hops, grass and grapefruit are most noticeable. High bitterness but not overwhelming and some left over sweetness. Feel very well balanced, specially for a single hop. Mouthfeel: 5/5 Smooth with a medium body. Easy to drink. Comment: What can I say? I love hops and this has plenty of it. Very fresh and while it has a fairly high bitterness it isn’t really overwhelming. The commercial description says Amarillo character that is more related to berries then citrus. Which I haven’t thought of but I have to agree. It actually has some flavours that I relate to wine. I think this is a beer that would work great on a hot summer day. It probably has some foods that it would work with but I think it works just great on it’s own. Oppigårds has done a fantastic job with this beer, definitely one of the better Swedish beers I’ve tried and since it’s priced at 19.90 (5 SEK cheaper then SN Torpedo) it’s a definite buy. I’m personally going to buy a couple extra bottles.

Deep copper colour, medium off-white head, lacing. Ar: Fruity, passionfruit, citrus, grapefruit, in short hops, hops, hops. F: same as in the nose with added perfume and spruce, lovely! M: crisp, clean with small bubbles. T: This makes me proud to be a swede!

Aroma: sweet, biscuity malt, sesame, pine, galia melon, lychee and sweat. Very interesting. Lovely.
Flavour: bittersweet and very fruity. Biscuity malts, fruity and sourish hops. Not bad, but it is slightly watery and very sweet. Way better than expected though. I like the mustiness and the resinlike character.
Appearance: Warm amber with pale and decent looking foam.
Palate: it is oily, thick and aptly fizzy. Smooth. This would be perfect on a hot summer’s day. The stickiness leaves funky lychee and piny acridness on the tongue. Awesome.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2010 Bottle (33 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear amber, medium fluffy off-white head. Piney and slightly perfumy hop aroma with notes of blackberries, upon a slightly caramelly malt base. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Very fresh lingering bitterness after a slightly sweet start. Very nice, my favourite Oppigård so far.

Bottle. Dark golden with a white head that lasted for a while. Fresh fruity aroma with passionfruit, peach, caramel, perfume and grass. The taste was about the same. A lot of carbonation, medium body. Pleasant and very drinkable. Hoppy and bitter aftertaste.

Bottle@home Apperance: Golden orange with medium head that disappears quite quickly. Some lacing. Aroma: Exotic fruit, Citric notes, Peaches, Hay, Caramel. Flavor: Exotic fruit, Citric notes, Hay, Grass, Caramel. Palate: Initial taste is very fruity and then it ends with some rather pleasant bitterness. Lots of carbonation with mini-bubbles. Body feels just right. Refreshing! A very nice APA from Oppigårds. Will definitely get more of this.

Peachy, resiny hops on aroma. Full, somewhat soft in the mouth with gentle malts giving way to rounded hops with a nice resiny edge.
