Bottle@home Wonderful hoppy aroma with lots of pineapple juice, citrus and some grass/hay. Opaque orange color, fairly small offwhite head w ok lacing. Taste is sharp hoppy bitterness, it’s almost overpowering. Lots of grapefruit, although not as pleasantly fruity as the aroma. Also little bit of sweetness. Long lasting bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium body & carbonation. Oily texture.

Rated this at home in Skövde. Nice aroma with sweet fruits and a bit raisins and a metallic touch. Hoppy taste a long lasting finish. A beer I love to taste again.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2011 On tap at Man in the Moon. Cloudy, deep amber liquid with small off-white head. Hoppy aroma with notse of grapefruit, citrus, pine but also a quite nice malty base with caramel and similar notes. Taste is (for the style) medium bitter with nice malt base and nice dryness. Medium bodied with OK carbonation. Quite refreshing for a DIPA. Well done!

Re-rating 20110808, this time from bottle. Clear, amber liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of tropical fruits, peach, grapefruit, pine, mango, spruce needles and some caramel malt. Taste is also nicely fruity with light sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness with nice dryness. Medium bodied with appropriate carbonation and light alcoholic burn. This one’s really good, a lot better than the previous batch. Great value for money, 23 kr ($3.5) is, in Sweden, unbeatable for a DIPA this good.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2011 Tap@Tre Små Rum. Pour clear orange amber with a nice beige head leaving pretty lace. Aroma is intense piny, cat bin, citric, kumin and caramel. Flavor as aroma with great pungeant, malty and bitter add on. Palate is bitter fruity. Finishes with a longlived bitter and slightly fruity aftertaste. Second pour: tap@City Pub. First one was not fresh pour, second is so need to adjust the rating a bit. Awsome beer!

Draught (Bishops Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm) - Amber with a slight haze and a foamy head. Very enticing aroma with notes of pine, toffee, grapefruit and peaches in syrup. Tangy and rather bitter taste with peach, grapefruit and toffee. Hoppy and bitter, yet not excessively so. Tasty and very enjoyable.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2011 Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours a beautiful golden honey with a large fluffy off-white head. Flavour is just bursting with all variations of fruit, topped off with some pine on an underlying layer of lightly sweet cookies. Nice bitterness that stays around for a while. Extremely drinkable!

Tap at Oliver Twist in Stockholm. The pour is a hazy orange with a thin, white head. But somehow this leaves sheets of sticky lace. Aroma is kumquat, sugar, birthday cake, jackfruit. Taste is fruity, sharp, sweet, melon heavy. Palate is full, fruity, oily. Refreshing. Very nice!
