Draught at the Rover. Somewhat hazy golden with a nice steady lasting head. Complex aroma with milk, citrus, grass, metal, perfume, apricot notes, pine needles and grape fruit. Citrus flavor, milky, malty but also grassy, with perfume and grape fruit. Long nice bitter flavor. This beer must have a recipe from a tall homebrewer.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 30 March 2011) Pale amber colour, slightly hazy, with lasting off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grapefruit, passion fruit and apricots. Fruity, malty taste with grapefruit, orange peel, marmalade, passion fruit and generous doses of fresh, citric hops in the finish. Solid malt foundation to match the bitterness. More than medium body, slightly sweetish. Very tasty and refreshing beer. Quite excellent!

Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm. Hazy amber/golden, creamy head. Lovely concentrated aroma of black currant sorbet. Mid sweet with medium-full body. Fruity with clean mouthfeel, Loads of sweaty black currant hops, balanced bitterness. The aroma is absolutely mindblowing, but I would like to see it softer.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 LoFi (1345) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 28, 2011
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2011 Draught, March 2011. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma: fresh hoppiness with citrus and tropical fruits. More of the same in the taste, with a nice maltiness and some toffee. Not very bitter. Medium-bodied. Nice. 8/4/8/3/15=3.8
Bottle, August 2011.
Slightly hazy dark orange with a creamy white head. Aroma: really hoppy with peaches, also a slightly burnt tone.
Taste: juicy hoppiness of peaches, pineapple, grapefruit, balanced by a caramel maltiness. Above medium-bodied, medium carbonation.
Definitely better than the early draught version, raising my rating.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 Gusgus (223) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - MAR 9, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 10, 2011 Tap @ City Pub. Hazy golden colour with medium sized white head.
A: Resinous, floral, citrus, cheesy, sweaty socks, light sweetness. A hint of aniseed too. The aroma is muddled and sort of oxidized. I can feel all the goodness is in there, but it won’t present itself. Maybe the keg was a bit old, on it’s fourth serving day.
T: Very bitter, lightly sour, salty, dry from start to finish, but with a good dose of alcohol to carry the flavors. All the malt and hops gives it a sort of salt licorice taste.
P: Medium body, creamy, average carbonation, bitter finish.
Overall a balanced beer with the right mount of carbonation, and balance between maltiness and bitterness. I tried the original brew at Rick’s place before the championships and remarked that I prefer double ipas a bit on the dry side. This brew turned out drier than expected, and I like that. But I feel that something wasn’t quite right with this beer because Ricks version was more perfumy and fresh in the aroma.
