Hazy amber color, thin head. It has a nice aroma, delicate, fruity hops and vanilla. Medium body, with a strong caramel and toffee flavor, and a powerful bitterness, oily, resiny. Long final, a bit harsh. A hopbomb, a good surprise.

Bottle 0,5l. Labeled "Late Summer Ale". Dark colden brown colored. A decent white creamy head. Strong aroma of hops and candy. Inviting. The rest is dominated by a strong fruity bitterness. A bit one dimensional.

pilsnerrogge (2285) - Finspång, SWEDEN - SEP 28, 2008
Bottled as Late Summer Ale: Pours hazy orange with a big, frothy head. Aroma is really hoppy and full of citrus, apricot, gooseberries and resiny pine. Mouthfeel might be a bit on the thin side. Flavour is all about resiny, zesty, citrusy hop. The hoppy aftertaste lasts "forever".

Bottle at chris_o’s The Cad V Imp Stout tasting. Alround rating: Outstanding, once again this brewery totally blows me away with its amazing hop character. Super hoppy, Lychee, Citrus, soo appealing and tasty. Amazing stuff.

Ingevara (714) - SWEDEN - AUG 29, 2008
Dark orange with a nice head. Strong aroma with heaps of hops. A balanced dryness with lots of grapefruit in the finish. A very good ale to enjoy slowly any summer evening, early or late, or why not mid!

500ml Bottle as Late Summer Ale (Tack Svesse) - Amber in colour with a foamy head. Hoppy aroma with a grapefruit and fruity element. Soapy and hoppy taste with tea and grapefruit and a pleasant but not overwhelming bitterness. Very nice.
